ABOUT THE JOURNAL
“SAVSAD Journal of Defence and War Studies” published by the Dean's Office of the National Defence University Turkish Military Academy, is a national and peer-reviewed, semiannually journal (June-December), which includes scientific articles related to social sciences. The Journal is indexed/ abstracted by ULAKBİM TR Dizin. The linguistic and scientific responsibility of the studies published in the Journal rests with the authors. The views expressed in the journal are solely of the authors and do not reflect the views of National Defence University, Ministry of Defence or The Turkish Armed Forces.

History of the Journal: SAVSAD Journal of Defence and War Studies started its publishing life in 1991 named as “Journal of Turkish Military Academy”. The name of the journal was changed as “The Science Journal of Turkish Military Academy” in 1995. It has been being published as a national and peer-reviewed journal since 2006. It has changed its name to “Journal of Defence and War Studies” by the 2020 Fall issue and continues its publishing life. It has been indexed by TR Dizin.
