Erhan Aydin is a Senior Lecturer at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University, and an Adjunct Professor of Management at IPAG Business School Paris (France). He obtained his PhD from Brunel Business School, Brunel University London, and holds an MSc from Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey. Additionally, he served as a Recognized Visiting Researcher at Said Business School, University of Oxford, from October 2016 to April 2017. His research focuses on key areas, including diversity, equality, and inclusion in organizations, HRM, e-HRM, and entrepreneurship. 

Dr. Aydin has held prestigious editorial roles, including Editor-in-Chief of the Gender Issues Journal, Regional Editor of the Journal of Organizational Change Management, and Associate Editor of Management Decision. His research has graced the pages of respected publications, including Sage and Edward Elgar, and has been featured in eminent journals such as the Human Resource Management Journal, the Journal of Organizational Change Management, and the Journal of Enterprise Information Management. Furthermore, his recent work on Digital Leadership received the Outstanding Paper Award from Management Research Review as part of the Emerald Literati Award.

Jose M. Pavía, MSc in Maths and PhD in Economics and Business Science, is Quantitative Methods Professor in the Economics Faculty of the Universitat de Valencia, Spain. Pavia develops and applies statistical and machine learning methods in many areas of social sciences. With broad and varied research interests, his work focuses on the search for innovations that bridge the gap between theory and practical applications and include issues related to risk assessment, prediction, statistical (machine) learning, public policy evaluation, public opinion, electoral processes, crime detection, survey research, sampling, ecological inference, behavioral economics, experiments, regional economy or inequality. She graduated from the Department of Public Finance at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. She completed her Master’s degree in the Thesis-Based Master’s Program in Fiscal Law at the Department of Public Finance, Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University with her thesis titled “The Principle of the Prohibition of Analogy in Turkish Tax Jurisdiction.”

She also completed her PhD at the same department and institute with her dissertation titled “The Collection Authority of the Tax Administration in Türkiye and Its Limits.”

For her post-doctoral studies, during the Fall Semester of the 2021–2022 academic year, she worked as a fully funded visiting researcher at the Faculty of Law of University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy on her project titled “Turkey's Individual Application Experience in terms of Taxation Policies: Suggestions for Italy.”

Between 2017 and 2018, she worked on temporary assignment as an Expert at the Presidency of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye.

Her main research interests include the relationship between taxation and human rights, as well as the individual application mechanism before the Constitutional Court.

She is fluent in English and has a good command of Italian.

Between September 2024 and February 2025, she was a visiting researcher for six months at Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Germany, where she completed her project titled “Analysis of the Carbon Tax in the Context of Environmental Rights and Property Rights and Examination of the Status of Germany and Türkiye in the Face of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.”

She currently continues her academic studies as an Associate Professor Dr., Department of Public Finance- Fiscal Law, Faculty of Economics, Istanbul University.

As Associate Dean at Global Banking School (GBS), working in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, I lead the Global Business and Entrepreneurship Department across five UK campuses. I oversee academic strategy, quality, staffing, and operational delivery for over 8,000 learners from diverse and widening-participation backgrounds. With more than 15 years in higher-education leadership and educational management, I have delivered sustained improvement through strategic planning, rigorous academic standards, and people-centred leadership. Recently, I led a full curriculum review with Oxford Brookes University to strengthen academic coherence, industry relevance, and student outcomes. I manage a cross-campus leadership team of 8 managers and a community of 120 academic and 20 professional colleagues, building a collaborative, resilient, high-performance culture. Under my leadership, the department has met B3 performance targets, enhanced learner experience, and strengthened its academic reputation. My leadership is grounded in inclusive education, teaching excellence, and purpose-led enterprise. I am committed to practice-informed research that improves pedagogy, shapes policy, and supports business innovation.

Emir Ozeren is an Associate Professor of management and organisation studies in the Faculty of Tourism at Dokuz Eylul University. He has a double major degree in business administration and international relations at the undergraduate level. He earned his PhD in management with “excellent cum laude” from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy. He did his post-doc studies as a Research Fellow (2017-2018) at the Southampton Business School, Southampton University, the UK within the framework of an international research project supported by the British Council Newton Fund. Since 2018, he has been affiliated as a member of the research group in the Centre for Inclusive and Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CISEI) at the University of Southampton, UK. Dr.Emir Ozeren has published widely on comparative and interdisciplinary aspects of sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination, and LGBTQ+ issues in tourism and organisations. His research has appeared in a number of scholarly outlets including the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Services Marketing, and Journal of Organizational Change Management. His current research interests include equality, diversity, inclusion in the workplace, queer and critical management studies, organisational silence and behaviour, social sustainability, sociology of work and tourism, and qualitative research methods.
