The
footnotes would be given as 1, 2, 3 … in Arabic numeration throughout the text
in a continuous manner.
·
The
numbers would have to be placed after the period at the end of the sentence.
·
The
footnote begins with a capital letter and ends with a period.
·
Footnotes
would be aligned from the left and be justified. The footnotes have to be
numbered using the ‘bullets and numbering’ setting.
·
In the
case that more than one reference is cited in one footnote, the sources used
must be sorted alphabetically. The date that should be used is the date of
death in the case of ancient authors, and the date of publication for the
contemporary authors. Referencing can be sorted according to primary and
secondary sources as well; in this case, the previous sequence will be used.
