Ekrem Altinozen received a B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering (with high honors) from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Eskisehir, Türkiye, in 2015 and a M.Sc. degree (with first-class honors) and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK, in 2018 and in 2023, respectively. In 2023, he joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Harran University, Sanlıurfa, Türkiye, as an Assistant Professor of Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Techniques. His research interests involve applied electromagnetics with emphasis on not only conformal but also planar microwave antennas and sensors for wireless communication, industrial, and sensing electronic applications.
Fahri Baran Köroğlu received his B.Sc. (2020) and M.Sc. (2023) degrees in Civil Engineering from the İzmir Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University under the supervision of Prof. Murat Altuğ Erberik, and has been a Graduate Research Assistant at Harran University since 2022. In 2023, he spent a semester at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a Teaching Assistant.
His research bridges earthquake engineering and machine learning, with the goal of developing efficient, data-driven solutions to contemporary seismic challenges. His primary interests include the seismic performance of reinforced-concrete buildings and structural reliability.
