For the past seven years, I have been a lecturer at Beykoz University in Istanbul, where I teach various courses including Character Design, Illustration, Drawing and Modelling, Motion Graphics, and Visual Design. These courses are offered in the Cartoon and Animation, Graphic Design, Radio Television and Cinema, and Communication and Design departments within the Faculty of Art and Design.

Currently, I am a PhD candidate at Marmara University in the Department of Advertising and Promotion. I am at the thesis writing stage, and my research focuses on the effects of advertising on career choices of individuals. Along with my academic experience, I have also been working as a senior art director at MG Creative Strategy Agency for 11 years. Additionally, for the last two years, I have been working as an animation artist remotely for the London-based advertising agency, Beige.

As a freelance artist, I have collaborated with numerous clients such as Netflix, PBS, BBC, World Health Organization, UNESCO, Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, HBO, and Flying Broom Film Festival. Notably, the short animated documentary titled “Camp Confidential America’s Secret Nazis,” for which I worked as title designer and graphic designer, was nominated for Outstanding Graphic Design and Art Direction, and Outstanding Music Composition in the THE 43rd NEWS & DOCUMENTARY EMMYS, and Shortlisted in the Best Documentary Short Subject category in 94TH ACADEMY AWARDS.

In addition to my professional work, I create illustrations and artworks for exhibitions and have my own NFT collection. I have also received awards and participated in animation and short film festivals, such as the European Human Rights Festival, where my film was a finalist.

As a lecturer, my primary goal is to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of animation and guide my students towards achieving their best potential through my experience.
