Bio
Bora Uzel, an earth scientist, was born on the 16th of October 1980 in İstanbul (Turkey). He finished his PhD in 2013 and got Associate Professor position in 2017. He studied on paleomagnetism at Fort Hoofddijk Lab of Utrecht University, and on Ar/Ar dating at Geochronology Lab of VU University Amsterdam. His current research interests include paleomagnetism, magnetostratigraphy, geochronology, paleoseismology, active tectonics, cosmogenic dating and the structural evolution of extensional & strike-slip basins. He is currently collaboratig with Utrecht, Leeds and Vrije Universities.
