Ali ERDOĞAN is an academician at Trakya University and is the head of the Banking & Insurance Department. After graduating from Kabataş High School in 1993, he completed his undergraduate degree at ITU Mathematics Engineering Department and his master's degree at Galatasaray University Business Administration Department; he completed his doctorate at Istanbul University Department of Econometrics. He received the title of Associate Professor in the field of "Quantitative Decision Methods" in 2017 and received the title of Professor Dr. in 2022. He speaks English and French languages.

He has written books on Mathematics, Foreign Direct Investments in Developing Countries and Turkey Example, Statistical Methods and Mathematical Models Used in Decision Making Process and Economics, Algebraic Methods Used in Financial Markets and Decision Making Process in Finance Management, Les Nouveautés et Les Problems du E-Commerce, Special Functions and Orthogonal Polynomials, Applications of the Derivative and Differential Equations, Statistical Analysis and Economic Applications.

He has given lectures on Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Electronic Commerce, Professional English, Financial Management, General Business, Management Organization, Logistics, Basic Computer Applications, Basic Sales Strategies, Recreation Centers Management, Sports Economics, Seminar, Research Methods, Advanced Research Methods, Numerical Decision Making Techniques, Business Statistics, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Introduction to International Finance, Operations Research Seminar courses. He gave lectures on Economics and Statistics in Netherlands and Hungary within the scope of the Erasmus Programme.
