Ali Yildirim is Professor of Pedagogical Work at University of Gothenburg in Sweden. He received his Ed.D. degree from Columbia University in 1993, and later worked at Middle East Technical University in Turkey for 25 years. He provided consultancy to Turkish Ministry of Education in nationwide research projects such as national achievement testing, parent education and vocational education. He served as educational consultant to World Bank financed projects in Turkey such as Preservice Teacher Education Development Project. Currently, he leads Didactic Classroom Studies with around 50 researchers at University of Gothenburg. His research interests include teaching and learning processes, curriculum planning and assessment, teacher education, and social studies education. Bellibaş, who became an Associate Professor in 2017, became a Professor in the field of Educational Sciences in 2024. Prof. Bellibaş currently works for the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Prof. Bellibaş has more than 80 articles published in journals indexed in respected national and international directories. Prof. Bellibaş's research area is educational administration.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filiz Keser Aschenberger, MA, is an academic and researcher at the University for Continuing Education Krems in Austria, where she is affiliated with the Center for Transdisciplinary Continuing Education Research. Her academic work primarily focuses on educational research, adult continuing education, lifelong learning, and the educational trajectories of migrants—with a particular emphasis on the experiences of Turkish migrant women. Throughout her career, Dr. Keser Aschenberger has served as a principal investigator on numerous national and EU-funded projects, exploring themes such as inclusive informal learning spaces, research literacy, sustainable education, and transnational higher education.

Martin Bílek graduated from the Faculty of Education in Hradec Králové (Czechia) in the field of chemistry and physics teaching, obtained a Ph.D. in pedagogy at the Faculty of Education of Charles University (Prague, Czechia) and was habilitated and inaugurated in the field of theory of chemistry teaching at the Faculty of Science at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia).
Currently he works at the Faculty of Education of Charles University, where he has successively held the positions of Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemistry Didactics, Vice-Dean for Science and Research and Vice-Dean for Lifelong and Distance Education. Prior to that he worked at universities in the Czech Republic (UHK, UJEP) and abroad (NTNU Trondheim, University of Maribor, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, UKF in Nitra). In his professional activity he deals mainly with didactics of chemistry and his broader range of professional interests includes didactics of natural science and technical subjects, methodology of natural science cognition, pedagogical and disciplinary didactic research, use of ICT in education and other areas related to education and applied informatics. He is a member of a number of professional societies, scientific councils and expert committees, e.g. ad-hoc committees for pedagogical disciplines of the Slovak Higher Education Accreditation Agency or vice-chairman of the Committee of the Expert Group for Chemical Education of the Czech Chemical Society. He is or has been an investigator of MOST projects from Horizon2020, MaSciL from EU FP7 or GEM from EU LC programme, several projects of GAČR, TAČR and other scientific and development projects. Prof. Dr. Peker graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics Education in 1995. Completed his Master's degree in Mathematics Education at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Institute of Science in 1998, and his Doctorate in Mathematics Teaching at Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences in 2003. Received the title of Associate Professor in Mathematics Education in 2011 and Professor in 2016.

Prof. Dr. Murat Peker has 19 articles published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in international databases, 29 presentations at international scientific conferences, 25 articles published in national peer-reviewed journals, 8 presentations at national scientific conferences, 3 book chapters, and authorship and editorship in 6th and 8th grade mathematics textbooks published by the Ministry of National Education. Between 2011 and 2017, Peker served as the Editor of the Journal of Theoretical Educational Sciences, and he also serves as a reviewer and member of the editorial board for various academic journals.

He has held positions as the Deputy Head of the Department of Secondary Education Science and Mathematics Education at Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Education, and as the Head of the Department of Mathematics Education and the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Education. Between 2011 and 2017, he served as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education at Afyon Kocatepe University, and between 2017 and 2019, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Education. Peker, who served as Vice Rector of Afyon Kocatepe University between April 22, 2019 and June 5, 2023, was reappointed as Vice Rector of Afyon Kocatepe University on June 6, 2023.

Koray Kasapoğlu graduated from the Department of Primary School Teaching at the Faculty of Education at Hacettepe University in 2008. Between 2008 and 2014, he completed his master's and doctoral studies in Curriculum and Instruction at Middle East Technical University. He received his associate professorship in 2020. From 2009 to 2015, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Primary School Teaching at the Faculty of Education, Afyon Kocatepe University. Since 2015, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the same institution. Between 2021 and 2024, he served as Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Afyon Kocatepe University. His administrative roles include being the Bologna Coordinator, Assistant Quality Coordinator, and a member of the Quality, Education and Training, and Scientific Research Projects Commissions. He is also a member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the Turkish Association of Curriculum and Instruction (TACI), which are both related to his field of study. Between 2021 and 2024, Kasapoğlu served as editor of the Afyon Kocatepe University Journal of Social Sciences, as co-editor of Qualitative Inquiry in Education: Theory and Practice, and as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Theoretical Educational Sciences. He taught undergraduate and graduate courses on topics such as an introduction to educational sciences, teaching principles and methods, measurement and assesment, curriculum development and evaluation, instructional models, philosophies of curricula, introduction to qualitative research in education, and needs analysis in curriculum development. Kasapoğlu has published work at a national and international level in the fundamental field of educational sciences. He has held various roles as project leader, researcher/expert, and trainer in BAP and TUBITAK-supported projects. His research areas include teacher education and training, curricula (including curriculum changes, perceptions of curricula, and curriculum literacy), teaching beliefs, constructivism, learning strategies and approaches, interdisciplinary curricula (including STEM, STEAM, and E-STEM), and artificial intelligence.

Bülent AYDOĞDU is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Education, Afyon Kocatepe University. He teaches STEM Applications and Scientific Research Methods at the graduate level, and science education, interdisciplinary science education, science curriculum, approaches to science learning and teaching, material design in science education, laboratory safety, and experimental techniques at the undergraduate level. His research interests include science education, STEM, STEAM, E-STEM, science laboratory, science process skills, argumentation-based learning, teacher education, and inquiry-based learning. He has also served as a director or researcher in numerous TÜBİTAK, European Union, and BAP projects.
