Bartın University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences

Bartın University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, scholarly, and open-access journal published by Bartın University. The journal aims to publish original, high-quality studies that make meaningful scholarly contributions to the social sciences and humanities.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly works in the fields of economics, business administration, public administration, political science, international relations, public finance, and management information systems.

Bartın University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences is published electronically twice a year, in May and November. Manuscript submissions are accepted throughout the year. The issue in which an accepted manuscript will be published is determined according to the date on which the peer-review and editorial evaluation processes are completed.

Only scholarly works prepared in Turkish or English are accepted for submission to the journal.

The journal applies a double-anonymized peer-review system. Under this system, the identities of the authors are not disclosed to the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are first subject to a preliminary editorial assessment in terms of conformity with the journal’s aims and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, scholarly quality, ethical declarations, and similarity rate. Manuscripts that pass the preliminary assessment are sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

The publication processes of Bartın University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences are conducted in accordance with the principles of research and publication ethics, editorial independence, impartiality in peer review, transparency, academic integrity, open access, and the free dissemination of scholarly knowledge. The journal takes into consideration national and international standards of scholarly publishing, principles of publication ethics, and the evaluation criteria of relevant indexing and abstracting services.

Authors bear full scientific, ethical, legal, and linguistic responsibility for the works published in the journal.

Bartın University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences adopts an open-access publishing model. All articles published in the journal are made freely available to readers immediately upon publication, without any access fee, subscription requirement, registration requirement, or embargo period.
