Born in Turkey. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. In 1997, he was awarded by the then Turkish Minister of Tourism for his contributions to Turkish art and tourism. He graduated from Gazi University, Department of Fine Arts Education in 2005. He completed his master's degree in 2009 and his doctorate in 2011 at the same institution. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and has been accepted to group exhibitions abroad in cities such as Barcelona, New York, Singapore, Isfahan, Baku, Bucharest, Podgorica, and Tbilisi. He has 7 solo exhibitions in Sarajevo, Budapest, Kaposvar, and Tokyo. His art-works have been accepted into the inventory of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. He received the title of faculty member in 2012 and associate professor in 2020. He has been working at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cartoon and Animation since 2005.

Banu Burçin Yıldırım orta ve lise eğitimini İstanbul’da tamamladı. 2001 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Seramik – Cam Anasanat dalı Seramik bölümünden lisans, 2005 yılında aynı fakültenin Seramik bölümünden Yüksek Lisans derecesiyle mezun olmuştur. 2021 yılında Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü, Seramik ve Cam Tasarımı Anasanat Dalı’nda "Artivizm Kavramının Çağdaş Seramik Sanatında Forma Dönüşmesi" isimli tez çalışması ile Sanatta Yeterlik eğitimini tamamlamıştır.
Yıldırım, 2003-2016 yılları arasında özel atölyelerde resim dersi vermiş yanı sıra, animasyon, illüstrasyon ve tasarım alanında freelance olarak çalışmıştır. 2001 yılından itibaren Muammer Çakı, karma öğrenci sergileri dışında, yakın zamanlı 2015 yılında “Cam Tavanı Delen Kadınlar”, 2016 yılında Zagreb’de düzenlenmiş olan “Tranformation of Image”, 2019 yılında “Troya’nın Ardından” isimli karma sergilere katılmıştır.

Lisans eğitimi 2013 yılında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nden, Yüksek Lisans eğitimi 2017 yılında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü Resim Anasanat Dalında ve 2022 yılında Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü Sanat ve Tasarım Bölümü Sanatta Yeterlik programından mezun oldu. 2019-2023 tarihleri arasında Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalışmıştır. Şubat 2023 tarihi itibariyle Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nde Doktor Öğretim Üyesi olarak devam etmektedir. Yurt içinde ve yurt dışında birçok karma ve projeli sergiye katılmaktadır.
Dr Levent Çoruh is an academic who has conducted influential work at both national and international levels in the field of design education, particularly regarding the integration of immersive technologies (VR, AR, MR) into educational curricula, throughout his academic career spanning over 19 years. In interdisciplinary courses (fine arts, graphic design, architecture, computer engineering) he has taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at institutions such as Erciyes University, Nuh Naci Yazgan University, and Cappadocia University, he has developed innovative teaching practices by actively using immersive technologies in areas such as 3D modelling, art production, colour theory and applications, basic design, animation, concept design, digital art, art history, and museum education.
In his doctoral thesis completed in 2011, he investigated the effects of integrating virtual reality into art history courses on academic achievement, learning, learning retention, and learning motivation. During this process, she personally carried out advanced technical stages such as modelling an entire historical structure in 3D and programming the virtual reality application, thus conducting original research on immersive technology integration at both theoretical and practical levels.
His academic publication performance is supported by articles with high impact values published in journals indexed nationally and internationally. Among his studies, articles published in Q1 and Q2 category journals stand out. These include reputable publications such as the International Journal of Technology and Design Education (SSCI, Q2) and the Journal of Cultural Heritage (ESCI, Q1). Furthermore, his studies, indexed in ESCI and TRDIZIN, which examine the use of augmented reality and virtual reality technologies in design education and cultural heritage preservation, have made significant contributions to the literature. His publications indexed in national databases also present innovative findings, particularly in areas such as VR-based instructional material design, international programme comparisons in animation education, and photogrammetry applications.
In terms of research projects, the projects led by Dr. Çoruh have a broad scope at both national and international levels. He served as project leader in the Erasmus+ KA2 project entitled ‘Collaboration to Design an Innovative Curriculum for Animation Education,’ funded by the European Union, managing curriculum development, course content design, and the integration of innovative technologies in education on an international scale. The research he has conducted as the principal investigator in BAP projects supported by the university covers the effects of different modalities of immersive technologies in education and creative processes, such as the relationship between virtual reality-induced discomfort and virtual environment design components, collective art creation with virtual reality, the effectiveness of augmented reality technologies in design education, and the use of motion capture and rapid prototyping technologies in animation education. Furthermore, she has made significant contributions to the field of digital cultural heritage through software development projects aimed at enabling 3D and interactive experiences of historical structures.
In addition to leading projects, Dr. Çoruh stands out for his interdisciplinary approach in the studies he participates in as a researcher; he contributes to the development of young researchers by supervising postgraduate theses focused on immersive technologies and design education.

Artist and academician Mert Yavaşca completed his bachelor degree at Eskişehir Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Printmaking, his master's degree at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Painting and his proficiency in art at Izmir Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Painting / Cardiff School of Art and Design. The artist, who concentrated his graduate education on modern and contemporary Turkish painting art within the framework of his art history researches, worked with Prof. Atilla Atar, Prof. Hayri Esmer, Prof. Mümtaz Sağlam, Prof. Gülay Yaşar Sağlam and Prof. Dr. Simber Atay.
The artist, who continues his studies with the title of Assist Prof Dr at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, is the founder of the independent art initiative SHELTER Artists Run Space.
The artist, who has participated in exhibitions as a curator and artist in various countries such as the United Kingdom, Sweden, Greece and Portugal, continues to work on art history and painting art in the Middle East and Turkey, as well as digital art, cybernetics and art povera.
He is one of the founders of SHELTER Artist Run Space, an independent art initiative that continues its activities in Lisbon.

Her research and design interests focus on data visualization, information architecture, interaction & information design, and communication design. She is also the education coordinator of the game design and development laboratory, PlayLab at YTU.
Born in Mersin/Silifke, Özlem KUM completed her undergraduate education in the Graphics Department of Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 2008, her graduate education at the same university in 2011, and her art proficiency training in the Media Design Department of Gazi University, Institute of Fine Arts in 2021. She has been continuing her academic life at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University since 2011, participating in numerous group and solo exhibitions and academic activities.

In addition, it is among the aims of the journal to increase the cultural knowledge level of the reader on different types of science, culture, art and design, and to diversify the perspective of science, culture, art and design.
Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts D-Sanat Journal includes articles on social sciences and humanities in general and culture, art and design in particular at national or international level. In the articles, the criteria of being based on research, contributing to the field, revealing the relationship of the field with other disciplines, presenting the results of applied studies with an academic approach, making suggestions regarding practice, examining new and different developments, and being up-to-date are taken into consideration. Articles to be published in D-Sanat magazine must not have been previously published in another publication or accepted for publication. In the papers presented in scientific meetings such as symposiums or congresses, the name, place and date of the scientific meeting should be specified. In studies supported by a research institution or organization, the name of the organization providing support, the name of the project, date (if any), number and number should be mentioned.

Articles submitted with the proposal to be published in Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts D-Sanat Journal should be written according to the spelling rules of the Turkish Language Association and care should be taken to comply with the following principles. In the preliminary examination, articles that do not comply with the writing rules / principles, purpose and scope of D-Sanat Journal and do not comply with the article template will not be evaluated.
D-Sanat Journal is an international refereed journal published twice a year (March, September) by Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts.
Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts D-Sanat Journal; It is a periodical journal open to interdisciplinary approaches, aiming to bring together research, analysis and evaluations in the field of art and design. Published in digital environment, our journal aims to contribute to academic / scientific debates in the field and to bring new expansions. At the same time, it is a journal where approaches, methods and experiences related to culture, art and design are shared, as well as original and analytical research. D-Sanat Journal is to enable academicians and researchers working in the field of culture, art and design to share their studies including their knowledge and experience.
Articles must be uploaded to the system via the D-Sanat DergiPark web page.
ORCID ID (researcher academic ID) must be obtained from https://orcid.org/register while logging into the system.
Since the journal has adopted a double-blind referee system, the rights of the referees and authors are reserved. Therefore, the articles recommended for publication should be uploaded to the system in two copies (named and unnamed) as word documents.
Articles submitted for publication in the journal should not have been published elsewhere before. More than one article of the same number of authors cannot be published (including articles with multiple authors).
Articles presented at a scientific meeting but produced from unpublished papers can be evaluated provided that they are clearly stated in the footnote. In studies supported by a research institution or organization, the name of the organization providing support, the name of the project, date (if any), number and number should be mentioned.
Authors can also apply to our journal with Turkish translations of texts published in foreign languages, which are considered to have contributed to their field. However, in this case, a permit obtained from the author / rights holder of the article and the original version of the text must be uploaded to the system. The scientific, ethical and legal responsibilities of the articles published in Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts D- Sanat Journal belong to the author(s).
