The Journal of Thematic Research in Educational Sciences is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year, in December and June, in Turkish or English. The Journal aims to contribute to original scientific studies reflecting interdisciplinary approaches in the fields of sustainable education, sustainable environment, sustainable development and its goals, sustainable renewable energy, sustainable technology, sustainable settlements, sustainable planning, sustainable water management, sustainable cultural environment practices, and educational sciences, psychological counseling, psychology, family education and counseling, as well as changes in family structures related to changes in the ecological system, related concepts, and current approaches. It is expected that the journal will be educational and developmental for students in interdisciplinary interactions within the themes determined to meet Turkey's need for qualified human resources in postgraduate education. Furthermore, it will provide postgraduate students with the opportunity to share their research and studies, which meet scientific criteria in their fields, in an academic environment.

The target audience includes scientists, educators, students, teachers, and individuals and organizations providing products and services to the education sector who work in the field of family and environmental education.

Declaration Form Regarding No Need for Ethics Committee Approval
The following rules regarding publishing ethics have been prepared. 1) Journal publishing is based on the obligations determined by the “Code of Conduct for Journal Editors (COPE)”, the “Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA)”, the “Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works (National Legislation)” and the “Guidelines for Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions”.
2) The editor requests a plagiarism report from the authors of the articles submitted to the journal. After reviewing and approving the plagiarism report, field editors and referees are assigned to the approved articles.
3) For article proposals that involve data collection through surveys, interviews, etc., EBTAD will request an ethics committee approval document from the author before submission. Information regarding the ethics committee document will be presented in the methods section.
4) All articles submitted to EBTAD that do not comply with ethical rules will not be accepted for publication. The evaluation process of articles where ethical violations are detected by the referee will be stopped and returned to the author. Compliance with ethical rules is the responsibility of the authors.
