Aim & Scope
The El-Cezerî Journal of Science and Engineering (ECJSE) is a research journal covering Science and Engineering subjects since 2014. ECJSE publishes three issues per year of rigorous and original contributions in the Science disciplines of Chemistry, Sciences, and Physics, and in the Engineering disciplines of Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and along with a Theme Issue on a specific topic.
The scope of the journal covers:
Fundamental - applied - experimental and theoretical studies of the Science and Engineering topics including:

- materials and nanostructures
- fabrication and processing
- new techniques
ECJSE publishes research papers, letters, topical review articles and special issues.
Research Papers. Reports of original research work.
Reviews. Reviews present a snapshot of recent progress in a particular field.
Peer Review
This journal operates double peer review policy. All submissions are preliminarily assessed for editorial suitability by an editorial board ahead of formal peer review.

Author Guideline
El-Cezeri Science and Engineering Journal (ECJSE) is a research journal that started its publication life in 2014 and covers Science and Engineering subjects. In order to establish scientific communication between scientists working in the fields of Science and Engineering, it accepts scientific original articles in Turkish or English on the journal website (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/ecjse).
No fee is charged from the authors for the publication of the articles. In addition, articles are open access.
El-Cezeri Science and Engineering Journal publishes scientific original articles under the following headings.
Research Article: These are studies that reflect an original research with its findings and results.
Screening (Review) Articles: These are articles that scan a sufficient number of scientific articles, summarize the subject at the level of today's knowledge and technology, evaluate and compare these findings.
Technical Note: Manuscripts describing a new method or technique describing the important findings of a study.
Each article is sent to at least two referees and the evaluation phase is carried out in terms of form and content. The single-blind refereeing method is used in the refereeing process. Articles determined to be published in the journal are stringed and made ready for publication.
INTRODUCTION
1. TEXT: It should be written in Times New Roman font and 12 pt, and should not exceed 20 pages, excluding the scan text, including references and figures.. Authors should indicate what type of manuscript their article is (Research Article, Screening Article, Technical Note)..
2. HOOD : The title of the work should be written in 14 pt Times New Roman with the first letters capitalized, the title should be short and clear in accordance with the text.. All of the first degree titles in the text should be written in italics, with the first letter capitalized, and the first letters of all the words of the second degree titles in uppercase and italic, for 3rd and lower titles, only the first word of the title should be capitalized and italic.

PRESENTATION
1. TEXT : It should be written in Times New Roman font, 12 pt, and should not exceed 20 pages, excluding references and figures. Authors should indicate what type of manuscript their article is (Research Article, Review Article, Technical Note).
2. HOOD : The title of the work should be written in Times New Roman 14 pt, with the first letters capitalized, the title should be short and clear in accordance with the text.
All of the first-degree titles in the text should be written in italics, with the first letter capitalized, and the first letters of all the words of the second-degree titles in capital letters and italic, and for third and lower titles, only the first word of the title should be capitalized.
3. SUMMARY :
It should be written in Turkish and English, not exceeding 200 words. The title of the work should also be written in English at the beginning of the English abstract.. In the articles written in English, Turkish title and summary should also be written.
5. KEYWORDS : It should be given at least 3 and at most 5 in Turkish / English.
6. TEXT : Generally includes the introduction, method, findings and discussion, conclusions..
7. Referees : In the text, [1], [2] and so on. should be numbered with numbers and should be written at the end of the text in the order in which they are given in the work.
If the source is an article: Initial letter of the author's surname, the full title of the article in quotation marks, the name of the journal (international abbreviations, if any), year, volume number (number): beginning and ending page number of the article.

If the source is a book: Initial letter of the name of the author's surname, the name of the book in quotation marks, volume number, if any, editor, name of the publisher, publication number, place of publication, (year).
If it is a chapter from the source book: The surname of the author of the chapter, the initial of the name, the name of the chapter in quotation marks, the name of the book from which the chapter is taken, the name of the publisher, the place where it was published, (year).
If the source is a published thesis: Author's surname, first letter of the name, name of the thesis in quotation marks, type (graduate, doctorate), university and institute where it was presented, (year).
If the source is a paper from the congress: The author's surname, the initial letter of the name, the name of the paper in quotation marks, the name of the congress, the place where it was made, the beginning and ending page number of the paper, (year).
If the resource is a standard: The number of the standard, the name of the standard in quotation marks, (year).
8. TABLES AND FIGURES: All images that do not contain charts (photographs, drawings, diagrams, graphs, maps, etc.) should be named as figures.. Each chart and figure should be placed in the closest cited place in the text. All figures should be numbered consecutively in the text.
9. FORMULAS AND UNITS: All formulas in the text should be written in equation format. The formulas should be given a sequence number in the form of (1), (2). All units must be in the SI unit system. 10. ICONS

11. THANK : If people or institutions are to be thanked, they should be written in this section and given before the references.
APPLICATION
Scientific original articles to be published in the Journal of Science and Engineering of El-Cezeri must be submitted online after registration through the journal's web page (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/ecjse).

Copyright Form
Within the steps of submitting the article, contact information including the name, surname and e-mail address of at least 5 referees related to the subject of the article should be written in the Letter to the Editor section. The proposed referees should be different from the institutions where the author (s) are located.
Shipping checklist
During the application process, authors must check the compliance of their submissions with all the items in the list below, applications that do not comply with this guideline will be returned to the authors.
The submitted article has not been published before and has not been submitted to any journal for evaluation (or a statement has been made in the Notes to the Editor).
The post file is in the form of an OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect document file
URLs for references are provided where available
The text is single-spaced, written in 12 pt. Italic instead of underlining (except for URL addresses), and all figures, pictures and tables are placed in appropriate parts of the text instead of page breaks. For printing, send quality copies of the pictures as attachments. If the size of the file sent is too large, the system may not receive it. In such cases, you can divide the article and send the other sections one by one as additional files.
The text has been prepared in accordance with the formal and bibliographic requirements specified in the Author's Guide in the "About the Journal" section.
When submitting an article to a journal section where the articles that pass the referee review are published, the instructions given in the Blind Referee link are applied.
Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Yayın Etiği
El Cezeri Fen ve Mühendislik Dergisi'nin (ECJSE) yayın süreçleri, bilginin bilimsel yöntemle yansız biçimde üretilmesi, geliştirilmesi ve paylaşılmasına dayanır.
Makaleler, bilimsel yöntemlerin uygulanması ile elde edilen çalışmalardır. Bilimsel çalışmalar sonucu elde edilen ürünlerin yayın sürecinin bileşenleri olan; yayıncı, editörler, yazarlar, hakemler ve okuyucuların etik ilkelere uymaları gerekir. Bu kapsamda ECJSE yayın etiği ile açık erişim politikası da, Yayın Etiği Komitesi’nin (Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE) açık erişimde yayınladığı kılavuzlar ve politikalar doğrultusunda (Örneğin “Yayın Etiği Komitesi (COPE) Davranış Kuralları ve Dergi Editörleri İçin En İyi Uygulama Kılavuzları; “Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors” ve “COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors”) yayın sürecinin tüm bileşenlerinin etik ilkelere uymasını gerektirmektedir.
Makalelerde kullanılan verilerin manipüle edilmesi, çarpıtılması ve uydurma verilerin kullanılması gibi durumlar tespit edilirse, makale yazarının çalıştığı kuruma bu durum resmi yollardan bildirilecek ve makale reddedilecektir. Dergimiz, editörya ve/veya hakemler tarafından verilen raporlara göre yazarlardan analiz sonuçlarına ilişkin çıktı dosyalarını isteme hakkına sahiptir.
Yayıncının Etik Sorumlukları
ECJSE 2014 yılından bu yana, yayın kurulu ya da editörler kurulu yönetiminde fen ve mühendislik konularında disiplinler arası çalışmaları Editörler Kurulu’nun önerileri ve desteği ile sürdürmektedir.
ECJSE Editörler Kurulu’nun Sorumlulukları
• ECJSE, Editörler Kurulu dergiyle ilgili konularda bilime hizmet eden, yerli ve milli kararlar alarak bağımsız olarak karar verir.
• ECJSE Editörler Kurulu, Dergiyi sürekli geliştirmeye, yayın niteliğini yükseltmeye çaba gösterir.
• ECJSE Editörler Kurulu, yayın, kör hakemlik, değerlendirme süreci, etik ilkeler gibi dergi politikalarının belirlenmesi ve uygulanmasını sağlar.
• ECJSE Editörler Kurulu, dergide yayınlanmış makale yazarlarının telif hakkını korur.
Editör, Editör Yardımcıları ve Alan Editörlerinin Etik Sorumlulukları
• Editörler, hakemlerin, yazar(lar)ın, araştırmacı, uygulayıcı ve okuyucuların bilgi gereksinimlerini karşılamaya gerektiğinde dönüt vermeye, yayın sürecinde düzeltme, açıklama gerektiren konularda açıklık ilkelerine göre davranmaya çaba gösterirler.
• Editörler, makalelerin yayımlanmasına karar verirken, makalelerin özgün olmasına, bilimsel yazım kurallarına, okuyucu, araştırmacı ve uygulayıcılara katkı sağlamasına özen gösterirler.
• Editörler, makalelerle ilgili olumlu ya da olumsuz karar verirken, makalelerin özgün değeri, alana katkısı, araştırma yönteminin geçerli ve güvenirliği, anlatımın açıklığı ile derginin amaç ve kapsamını göz önünde tutarlar.
• Editörler, başvurusu yapılan makalelerin önemli sorunu olmadığı sürece ön değerlendirme aşamasına alır, olumlu hakem önerilerini göz önünde bulundurur, ciddi sorun olmadıkça önceki editör(ler)ce verilen kararları değiştirmezler.
• Editörler, derginin yayın politikaları arasında bulunan kör hakemlik ve değerlendirme süreci politikalarını uygular, hakemlerin kimlik bilgilerini gizli tutar, her makalenin yansız ve süresi içinde değerlendirilmesini sağlarlar.
• Editörler, makaleleri alan editörleri ve hakemlerin uzmanlık alanlarını dikkate alarak gönderir, değerlendirmelerin yansız ve bağımsız yapılmasını desteklerler.

• Editörler; makalelerde insan ve hayvan haklarının korunmasına özen gösterirler, makalenin katılımcılarının açık onayının belgelendirilmesini önemserler, makalenin katılımcılarına ilişkin etik kurul onayı, deneysel araştırmalarda izinleri olmadığında makaleyi reddederler.
• Editörler; görevi kötüye kullanmaya karşı önlem alırlar. Görevi kötüye kullanmaya yönelik yakınmalar olduğunda, nesnel bir soruşturma yaparak, konuyla ilgili bulguları paylaşır.
• Editörler, makalelerdeki hata, tutarsızlık ya da yanlış yönlendirmelerin düzeltilmesini sağlarlar.
• Editörler, yayınlanan makalelerin fikri mülkiyet hakkını korur, ihlal olması durumunda derginin ve yazar(lar)ın haklarını savunurlar. Ayrıca yayımlanan makalelerin içeriğinin başka yayınların fikri mülkiyet haklarını ihlal etmemesi konusunda gerekli önlemleri alırlar; özgünlük-benzerlik denetimini yaparlar.
• Editörler, Dergide yayımlanan makalelere yönelik tutarlı eleştirileri dikkate alırlar, eleştirilen makalelerin yazar(lar)ına yanıt hakkı tanırlar.
• Editörler olumsuz sonuçları içeren çalışmaları da göz önünde bulundururlar.
• Editörler, Dergiye iletilen yakınmaları inceler ve gerekli açıklamaları yaparlar.
Hakemlerin Etik Sorumlulukları
ECJSE makale değerlendirme sürecinde yazar(lar)ın hakemleri, hakemlerin yazarları tanımadıkları iki yönlü kör hakemlik ilkesi uygulanır, hakemler yazarlar ile doğrudan iletişim kuramaz; makale değerlendirme formları ve metin üzerinde belirtilen notlar ile düzeltme istemleri dergi yönetim sistemi üzerinden editörlerce yazar(lar)a iletilir. Hakemler şu etik sorumlulukları taşımalıdır:
• Hakemler yalnız uzmanlık alanı ile ilgili makaleleri değerlendirmeyi kabul etmelidir.
• Hakemler, değerlendirmeyi yansızlık ve gizlilik içinde yapmalıdır. Bu ilke gereğince inceledikleri makaleleri değerlendirme sürecinden sonra yok etmeli, ancak yayınlandıktan sonra kullanmalıdırlar. Uyruk, cinsiyet, dinsel inanç, siyasal inanç ve ticari kaygılar, değerlendirmenin yansızlığını bozmamalıdır.
• Hakemler, çıkar çatışması-çıkar birliği olduğunu anladıklarında, makaleyi değerlendirmeyi reddederek, editörlere bilgi vermelidir.
• Hakemler, değerlendirmeyi akademik görgü kurallarına uygun biçimde, yapıcı bir dille yapmalı; hakaret ve düşmanlık içeren kişisel yorumlardan kaçınmalıdır.
• Hakemler değerlendirmesini kabul ettikleri makaleyi süresi içinde değerlendirmelidirler.
Yazarların Etik Sorumlulukları
ECJSE dergisine makale başvurusu yapan yazar(lar)ın etik sorumlulukları:
• Yazar(lar), başka yerde yayımladıkları ya da yayımlanmak üzere gönderdikleri bir makalesini, aynı anda birden fazla makalesini ECJSE Dergisi'ne göndermemelidir.
• Yazar(lar), ECJSE Dergisi'ne özgün makale göndermelidir.
• Yazar(lar), makale yazımı sırasında yararlandıkları kaynaklara etik ilkeler doğrultusunda doğru biçimde yollama (atıf) yapmalıdır.
• Makaleye katkı sağlamayan kişilerin adı, yazar olarak yazılmamalı, yayımlanmak üzere başvurusu yapılan bir makalenin yazar sırasını değiştirme, yazar çıkartma, yazar ekleme önerilmemelidir.
• Yayınlanma başvurusu yapılan makaleyle ilgili çıkar çatışması-çıkar birliği olan kişileri editörlere bildirmelidir.
• Değerlendirme sürecinde yazar(lar)dan makalelerine ilişkin bilgi ya da ham veri istenmesi durumunda beklenen bilgileri Editörlere sunmalıdırlar.
• Yazar(lar), değerlendirme ve erken görünüm aşamasındaki ya da elektronik ortamda yayımlanmış makalesiyle ilgili hatayı fark ettiklerinde bilgi vermek, düzeltmek ya da geri çekmek için editörle iletişime geçmesi gerekir.
