Articles submitted by authors who serve on the journal boards (Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, Field Editor, Language Editor, and Technical Editor) and are affiliated with Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University will be published as of September 1, 2025, with a maximum of 10% of the total number of articles published in each issue, even if the peer-review process is successful.

1. Articles submitted for publication in our journal should be prepared according to the journal writing rules. The study which are not in accordance with the writing rules will be returned to the authors and will not be accepted for peer-review.

2. Each study must use MS Word 2007 version or higher version using the A4 in the paper. The article should be listed as Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References.

3. Journal writing rules are also print format. Therefore, the rules of writing should be prepared carefully by the authors. Articles that do not comply with the writing rules will be sent back to the author(s).

5. Copyright Transfer Form

As authors hereby declare and own that the article sent to the "International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Sciences" comply with the the writing and publication rules that the journal and the presented article is the original work of the author(s), all the authors the final manuscript state of the presented article and they confirm, but also not sent to be published in another journal, is an unissued work, the text in the article does not infringe the copyright rights of way and documents belonging to other persons and comply with scientific and ethical rules. In addition to writing this article, we declare to have also played an active role in the phase of planning, performing of the study and analyzing the data and we accept all the responsibility about this study. We have revised the latest version of the article and in the case of necessity, we pledge to send all the data related to the article to the editors. We inform that we have transfered all sorts of rights of this article presented to be issued by us and after being proofread to the International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Sciences from the day of publishing. The corresponding author must submit the system after filling in the required fields in the author loading step and signing by the author(s).

The publication process of the International Journal of Agricultural and Wildlife Sciences is conducted in accordance with ethical principles. The procedures employed throughout the process support the quality of the studies. Therefore, it is crucial that all stakeholders involved adhere to ethical standards.

ETHICS COMMITTEE APPROVAL

The ULAKBİM TR INDEX Committee, following a change to the journal evaluation criteria for 2020, requires that Ethics Committee Approval be obtained for research conducted in all scientific disciplines, including the social sciences, and that this approval be stated and documented in the article.

Following this change in Article 8 of the TR INDEX Evaluation Criteria, for studies requiring ethics committee approval that began in 2020, the information regarding the approval (ethics committee name, date, and issue number) in the Ethics Committee Approval must be included in the methods section of the article, as well as on the first and last pages. Accordingly, the following criteria will be submitted to our journal for publication in the future;

Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Approval

1) Any research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that requires data collection from participants using surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, experiments, or interviews;

2) Studies using humans and animals (including materials/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes;

3) Clinical research conducted on humans;

4) Animal research;

5) Retrospective studies in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law.

For such studies to be considered for review, the relevant ethics committee approvals must be obtained, and these approvals must be clearly stated in the text of the article.

Note: Scientific research conducted on humans and animals must be conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the ARRIVE guidelines, and approval must be obtained from the relevant ethics committee. Studies without ethics committee approval will not be evaluated in our journal.

The International Journal of Agricultural and Wildlife Sciences expects its readers, authors, reviewers, and editors to assume ethical responsibilities.
The ethical codes expected from manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Agricultural and Wildlife Sciences and during the publication process are outlined below, in accordance with the guidelines and policies developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Ethical Rules for Authors

• Studies must be original, unpublished, and in accordance with scientific research and publication ethics.

• Authors must confirm that they have read and understood the author instructions.

• All authors are expected to contribute to the study.

• All data included in the article must be authentic and original.

• Authors are responsible for determining whether the article requires ethics committee approval. Ethics committee approval must be stated in the materials and methods section at the end of the article.

Ethical Rules for Reviewers

• Comments must be made objectively.

• Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate.

• Reviewers should express their opinions clearly, with supporting arguments and references when necessary. However, they should not be defamatory or libelous.

• Reviewers should declare any competing interests.

• Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts with conflicts of interest arising from:

• (competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or affiliations with any of the authors, companies, or affiliated organizations of the journal).

• Reviewers must respect the confidentiality of submitted materials and not discuss unpublished articles with colleagues or use the information in their own work.

• If a reviewer wishes to forward a review request to a colleague, they must obtain the editor's permission in advance.

• Reviewers must be impartial.

Ethical Rules for Editors

• Editorial independence must be ensured. Editorial decisions should be based on the quality of the work and appropriate peer review, rather than on political, financial, or personal influence.

• Editors are responsible for providing referees with all necessary information. This information sharing should be in accordance with COPE principles.

• Editors should adopt a peer review process appropriate to their journals, their fields of study, and their sources.

• Editors should not be denied the right to publish in their own journals, but they should not exploit their position. Journal procedures should be followed.

• The principle of editorial independence should always be upheld.
