The responsibility of being the oldest music and performing arts school in Turkey, the necessity of a theoretical infrastructure to support art practice in order to be internationally competitive encouraged us to establish Conservatorium Journal. Since 2011, when we published the first issue, we have been able to get a chance to work with valuable writers and referees. The Conservatorium, which started again its publication life in 2016 after a short break, would like to collaborate not only music, musicology and the performing arts but also the fields such as semiotics, literature, philosophy, aesthetics, psychology, biomechanics, physiology, neuroscience, electroacoustics, organology, stage-costume design and art management. For this purpose, we aim to develop our academic partnership with precious academicians, graduate students and researchers. We look forward to your valuable contribution with original articles, research, compilation and translation articles in line with these goals.
All expenses of the journal are covered by Istanbul University. Processing and publication are free of charge with the journal. There is no article processing charges or submission fees for any submitted or accepted articles.
