Mesned Journal of Theological Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal indexed in various national and international databases, primarily EBSCO, DOAJ, and ERIH PLUS. The journal aims to publish original and high-quality scholarly studies in the fields of Basic Islamic Sciences, Islamic History and Arts, Philosophy and Religious Studies, and Social and Human Sciences.
Manuscript Submission and Publication Model
The Mesned Journal of Theological Studies has moved to continuous publication by volume starting with Volume 17. Within this scope, the previous structure of publishing two online issues per year has been abandoned in favor of a single annual volume, completed through the editorial and peer review processes within the year. Accordingly, the volume for the relevant year is continuously expanded and updated as new articles are published.
Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in accordance with the journal’s Manuscript Template and Author Guidelines prior to submission. Submissions that do not comply with the formatting and stylistic requirements will not be taken into the review process.
Review and Evaluation Process (Minimum 60 Days)
The evaluation process of the journal consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary screening by the editorial office (compliance with author guidelines and template)
- Initial assessment by the Section Editor
- Evaluation by the Editorial Board
- Double-blind peer review process
- Language and style editing
- Final proofreading
All review and publication procedures are conducted meticulously in accordance with academic ethics and international publishing standards.

As of 2019, the name of the journal has been changed to “Mesned Journal of Theology Studies”
