The aim of the Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is to publish original articles in all fields of social and human sciences. It is aimed to contribute to the literature and practice by establishing a multidisciplinary study area with the journal.
Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities accepts theoretical and applied scientific/original articles on Social and Human Sciences. Semantics/MTU Journal of Social and Humanities is a multidisciplinary and peer-reviewed journal that publishes national and international academic studies on Social and Human Sciences. The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is published twice a year (June - December). All processes of the articles from the application stage to the publication stage are carried out through the Dergi Park system. No fee is charged from the authors for the publication of their work. In addition, no fees are paid to authors and referees.
1. The articles submitted for publication in the journal must not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication.
2. TEXT FIELD: Articles must be written in Microsoft Word program. A4 should be selected as the paper type. Page layout (spaces) of the sections; as "top: 2 cm", "bottom: 2 cm", "right: 2 cm", "left: 2 cm", "indent left: 0 cm", "indent right: 0 cm", "custom: none" must be set. Abstract, Introduction, Figures, Tables, Bibliography and Notes should not exceed 30 pages in total.
3. WRITTEN CHARACTERS: The font is "Times New Roman"; font size should be set to "12 point". "Single line spacing" should be used as line spacing. Between paragraphs (before-after) "6 pt (inch)" spaces should be left. No additional blank lines should be left between paragraphs, except for the spaces in question.
4. In the writing, one character space (space) should be left after commas and periods (punctuation marks). Manuscripts should be written as paragraphs and "justified on both sides".
5. MAIN TITLE: The general title of the article should be written in bold, aligned to the left and in 15 points. The first letters of the words used should be written in uppercase and the other letters in lowercase. English title should be written under the Turkish title. No line space should be left between the Turkish and English titles, and "6 pt" space should be left for before and after. The first letter of the words in the English title will be written in uppercase and the other letters in lowercase. The English title should be written in italics, in normal color (not bold), aligned to the left and in 12 points.
6. AUTHOR INFORMATION: After the English title (bottom line), the author's Name and SURNAME should be written left-justified, bold, Times New Roman font and 10 font size, without leaving any spaces. The academic title, institution and e-mail address of the author, respectively, should be written on the bottom line, left aligned, in normal color (not bold), italic and 10 font size, fully and clearly. If there is more than one author, other authors should be added one after the other in the same way. Author information should not be shown with additional footnotes.
7. MAIN SECTIONS: The text of the article should be divided into "ABSTRACT", "ABSTRACT", "INTRODUCTION", Text, "CONCLUSION" and "REFERENCES". The main sections should be written in 11 points, bold (bold), capital letters and left aligned. Except for "CONCLUSION" and "REFERENCES", all main headings should be numbered in order, starting with 1.
8. TURKISH SUMMARY AND ABSTRACT: Abstract part "Turkish" should be between 120 - 250 words. At the end of the abstract, there should be at least 3 and at most 5 "keywords" suitable for the content. Abstract part of the abstract should be prepared as an "English" translation of the Turkish abstract text and key words. The words "SUMMARY" and "ABSTRACT", which are the titles of these sections, should be written in capital letters, in bold, with "6 pt" paragraph spacing before and after. Turkish and English abstract sections should be prepared with their titles, 3.5 paragraph indentation, justified, 9 font size.
9. TEXT: The language used in article writing should be clear, understandable and fluent. The text must comply with the spelling and spelling rules of the Turkish Language Institution. In the "text" section in application-based studies, "Subject, Purpose, Importance of Research", "Research Methodology (universe, sample, scales, data collection method and tool, constraints, data analysis techniques used)" "Literature Review" and "Results" sub-sections parts should be included.
10. OTHER TITLES (CHAPTER TITLES): In title numbers, numbers should be given from the Introduction. Headings and subheadings should be numbered. All section titles should be in the first line setting and be like this.

11. TABLES AND FIGURES: All tables, figures and graphics within the study sections should be centered on the page in a sequentially numbered manner at appropriate places in the text. Each table, figure or graphic should be given a title. Title; should be placed above the table, figure or graphic, centered on the page and the table, with only the initials of the words in capital letters and in 10 points. The text in tables, figures and graphics should be in the range of 8-11 points. Tables, figures or graphics should be easily readable and placed on the page in accordance with the page structure (not exceeding the page margins) given above. References should be added just below the figures and tables.
Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities follows the basic principles of COPE (Publication Ethics Committee). The journal is against all forms of plagiarism and infringement of copyrights. Authors must comply with the high standards of publication ethics set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
• Plagiarism and misuse of the work, including forgery or fake data generation, duplication of works belonging to the authors without appropriate attribution, are unacceptable practices. Any case of ethical misconduct is treated very seriously and will be handled in accordance with the COPE guidelines.
• All authors listed in the manuscript must have contributed significantly to the experimental design and implementation, or to the analysis and interpretation of data. All authors must have been involved in the draft of the manuscript and at any of the revision phases, and must have read and approved the final version. Anyone who has made a major contribution to the writing of the manuscript should be listed as an author (eg. “writing for someone else or getting someone else wrote” is prohibited by the Journal). Persons who do not contribute to the content intellectually in the creation of the work should not be specified as the author.
• Raw data regarding their articles can be requested from the author(s) within the framework of the evaluation processes, in such a case the author(s) should be ready to present the expected data and information to the editorial board and scientific committee.
• Submitting your manuscript text to the journal means that it is an original article and an unpublished work and is not being reviewed elsewhere.
• Plagiarism in whole or in part without proper attribution, including reproduction of the author's own work, is not tolerated by the journal. Article texts submitted to the journal are checked for originality using anti-plagiarism software.
• All authors who submit their articles to the Journal of Semantics/MTU Social and Humanities are expected to comply with the ethical standards of referencing. It is the author(s) responsibility to give references in accordance with the sources used in the article.
• Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities uses the Turnitin program for plagiarism evaluation & similarity rate determination. If plagiarism is detected after the study is published, "Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities" reserves the right to withdraw the article.
• In the event that the author(s) notices an error or error in their published, early appearance or evaluation work, they are obliged to cooperate with the editor in informing, correcting or withdrawing the journal editor or publisher.
• Evaluation of all studies with Blind Refereeing directly affects the quality of the publication. This process provides confidence through an objective and independent evaluation of the publication. Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, evaluation process is carried out with the principle of double-blind refereeing. Referees cannot directly communicate with authors, evaluations and comments are submitted through the journal management system (dergipark). In this process, reviewer comments on evaluation forms and full texts are forwarded to the author(s) through the editor.
• The publication processes implemented in Semantics/MTU Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities form the basis for the development and distribution of information in an impartial and respectable manner. The journal owner, publisher and no other political or commercial factors affect the editors' independent decision making.

1984 yılında Hatay Dörtyol'da doğdu. 2008 yılında İnönü Üniversitesi İİBF İşletme bölümünden, 2012'de İnönü Üniversitesi SBE Muhasebe-Finansman Anabilim Dalında yüksek lisansını 2018'de İnönü Üniversitesi SBE Muhasebe-Finansman Anabilim Dalında doktora eğitimini tamamladı. 2022 yılında Finans alanında Doçent unvanını aldı. Ulusal ve uluslararası alanda birçok makale, bildiri, kitap/kitap bölümü vardır. 2011-2018 yılları arasında Kilis 7 Aralık Üniversitesi SBMYO Muhasebe ve Vergi ve Uygulamaları Bölümünde öğretim görevlisi olarak 2018-2021 arası aynı bölümde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak çalıştı. 2021-2022 yılları arasında Malatya Turgut Özal Üniversitesi SBBF Uluslararası Ticaret ve Finansman bölümünde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak, 2022 yılından itibaren aynı bölümde Doçent olarak görev yapmaktadır. Dekan Yardımcılığı, Anabilim dalı başkanlığı, fakülte yönetim kurulu üyeliği, sürekli eğitim yönetim kurulu üyeliği gibi birçok birimde idari görev yaptı ve hala bazı görevlerine devam etmektedir. Evli ve 3 çocuk sahibidir.

Dr. Ekşi, lisans eğitimini, 1998 yılında Uludağ Üniversitesi İİBF İşletme bölümünde tamamlamıştır. Aynı yıl Gaziantep Üniversitesi'nde öğretim görevlisi olarak akademik hayata başlamıştır. 2014 yılında finans alanında doçentlik ünvan ve yetkisini almıştır. 2020 yılında profesörlük kadrosuna atanan Ekşi, halen Gaziantep Ünv. İİBF İşletme bölümü muhasebe-finansman ABD başkanlığını yürütmektedir. Ağırlıklı olarak bankacılık, finansal sistem ve sürdürülebilirlik başlıklarında olmak üzere yüksek etkili dergilerde bilimsel makaleleri ve kitap/kongre/editörlük çalışmaları bulunmaktadır.

Dr Volodymyr Bilotkach is an Associate Professor in Aviation Management with Purdue University’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology. An accomplished scholar with internationally visible research profile, he has written a book “Economics of Airlines” and published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Bilotkach’s research spans a number of issues in the economics, regulation and policy of the aviation sector. He is a Co-Editor-In-Chief of Journal of Air Transport Management – considered to be the top scholarly journal in the respective field.
Dr Bilotkach has previously held full-time academic positions in the United Kingdom and Singapore, and short-term appointments in Ukraine, Germany, South Korea, and Japan. He has advised governmental organizations around the world on aviation policy issues, including the European Commission, the US Department of Transportation, the Netherlands Competition Authority, Malaysian Aviation Commission, and UAE General Civil Aviation Authority. He is also an External Instructor with IATA Training, where he has completed 26 training assignments in a dozen countries since 2016.
Dr Bilotkach holds Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Arizona, as well as B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv, Ukraine. In addition to his native Ukrainian, Dr Bilotkach speaks English (C2 level), French (B2 level), and Russian (C2 level).
