Tourism, whose economic, social, and cultural significance is increasing daily, constitutes a significant force that can be leveraged to advance the rapidly growing and developing Turkic World. To enhance tourism's contributions to the progress and integration of the Turkic World, it is advisable to examine the matter in a multidimensional manner. Accordingly, to encourage academic research on the development perspectives of tourism in the Turkic World, the International Journal of Turkic World Tourism Research of Kastamonu University, Faculty of Tourism, commenced publication in December 2015 as an international, peer‑reviewed journal issued twice a year.
