Turkish Journal of Food and Agriculture Sciences (TURJFAS) publishes academic studies related to Food and Agriculture Sciences since June 2019. Academic studies written in English are published in journal. TURJFAS published biannually (June and December) at a year by DergiPark for the “Turkish Academic Network and Information Center (ULAKBİM)”, a unit of “The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK)”.

Turkish Journal of Food and Agriculture Sciences (TURJFAS) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal status, a full Open Access academic journal that publishes original studies (Original Research Articles, Reviews, Short Communications and Technical Notes) in the fields of Food and Agriculture Sciences.

Turkish Journal of Food and Agriculture Sciences (TURJFAS) publishes high quality research articles on agricultural economics, animal science, biosystems engineering, field crops, horticulture, plant physiology, postharvest biology and technology, ornamental, biochemistry, plant protection, soil science and plant nutrition from agriculture sciences subjects, and food technology, food composition, food industry, food processing, from food sciences subjects. Studies featuring animal trials are outside the scope of the journal and will not be considered for publication.

TURJFAS does not charge any printing costs from authors.

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number is assigned for each article accepted to be published in TURJFAS, starting from December 2019.

All submissions are screened by plagiarism detection software (below 20% via IThenticate).

DergiPark provides online hosting services and an editorial workflow management system for academic journals published in Türkiye. The DergiPark project, undertaken by TÜBİTAK - ULAKBİM, is a public service in Türkiye whose mission is the web-based publication of academic journals and the operation of an online journal management system. The project also organizes, conducts and coordinates the dissemination of scientific information in line with national targets.

Turkish Journal of Food and Agriculture Sciences (TURJFAS) is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is accordance with the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative) definition of open access.
