Dini Arastirmalar/ The Journal of Religious Studies seeks to promote quality studies in the fields of religious studies and divinity. The journal, furthermore, goals to provide an avenue for scholars and researchers to publish and discuss their academic works relevant to Arts and Humanities,Theology and Ethics, Islamic Studies, Comparative Religious Studies
Dini Arastirmalar publishes articles that approach the fundamental problems of religious studies from a scientific perspective and propose solutions to these issues.
An article submitted for publication in Dini Arastirmalar should be an original research paper that is based upon a research and filling a gap in its subject matter.
It should be noted that an article submitted for publication in Dini Arastirmalar should not have previously been published; the papers presented in scholarly meetings may be accepted provided that it is frankly indicated.
Dini Arastirmalar uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are hidden from each other, throughout the review process. The authors and reviewers are responsible to show their efforts to conceal the identities from being known to each other.
In addition, all articles are checked by means of a program in order to confirm they are not published before and avoid plagiarism.
Dini Arastirmalar has been published since 1998 within the scope of Ankara University Faculty of Divinity in Ankara, Turkey. It is published twice a year: Winter/December and Summer/June. We publish an English title, an abstract (250-300 words), keywords (between 5-8 concepts), and a full bibliography prepared in APA Referencing Style for each article.
The primary language of the journal is Turkish, however upon the decision of the editorial board articles in other languages such as English and Arabic may also be published as long as they do not extend beyond one-third the length of the journal.
