Dr. Bas received his PhD and Master Degree in 2011 and 2017, respectively, from Structural and Earthquake Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) which is the pioneering university in the engineering sciences in Turkey. His main research fields are Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Structural Identification of Civil Infrastructures, such as suspension bridges, performance-based structural assessment and analysis. He has the total number of 13 SCI or SCI-E papers and internationally recognized conferences in the these fields. He is now at the position of Assoc. Prof. Dr. at the Department of Civl Eng., Bartin University.
