About

Duzce University Journal of Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed journal published four times a year (January, April, July, October) in electronic environment by Düzce University Graduate Institute. Duzce University Journal of Science and Technology aims to publish national and international scientific studies in the field of science and aims to announce these studies to scientists, experts and the public. For this purpose, the journal publishes theoretical and experimental original researches in the field of science as well as review type studies. Publications submitted to our journal are evaluated according to the blind refereeing method. It is free of charge to submit a publication to our journal.
The pre-control phase of our journal takes an average of 1 month, and since the final decision time depends on the referees, our editorial board cannot give a clear opinion about when the final decision on your article can be made or when your accepted article will be published. Accepted manuscripts are assigned to issues depending on the order of acceptance. In addition, as a result of the decision taken by the editorial board of the journal, there cannot be more than one publication of an author in the same volume. Maximum 1 publication of an author can be published in one calendar year. Starting from the January 2024 issue, our journal publishes articles written in English.

The manuscripts subjected to preliminary evaluation are technically examined in terms of form and content. As a result of the technical review, publications that do not comply with the journal's spelling rules are sent to the authors and the authors are asked to make the necessary corrections in the publication. Publications that are determined to be in compliance with the spelling rules as a result of technical review are sent anonymously to at least two referees. Publications that are requested to be corrected by the referees are sent back to the authors for the necessary changes. It is the author's responsibility to submit the corrected text to the journal within the specified period. The corrected text is re-examined by the referees who request changes, if necessary. Publications approved by the referees as a result of the correction process are published online on our journal's website.

Our journal is published on Ulakbim Dergipark, an open access system. All published issues of our journal and the articles in the issues are accessible free of charge. Our journal supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative.

COPYRIGHT POLICY

Duzce University Journal of Science and Technology-DUBITED will apply the Creative Commons Attribution Licence to all published works. Accordingly, authors retain ownership and copyright of their articles. However, permission will be granted to those who download, reuse, reprint, reprint, modify, distribute and/or copy the articles as long as the authors and sources are cited.
