Bio
Mehmet Akif Ocak is a professor in the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies Teaching at Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education. He earned his B.S. in mathematics at Ankara University, Faculty of Science. He finished his M. S. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the State University of New York at Albany, NY. His research area concerns integration of computing technology in classroom environment, and the design and the usage of educational materials. His recent studies focused on robotics, coding and Internet of Things. In the field of Information Technologies, he has undertaken many national and international conferences, congresses, articles, books, projects and editorial works and held administrative duties. He is still working as a faculty member at Gazi University.
