Journal of Anatolia and Balkan Studies (JABS) is a biannual peer-reviewed journal of Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University. Our journal follows academic ethical publication guidelines. We prioritize the timely publication of the journal and a meticulous peer-review process.

Anatolia and Balkan geographies have been in constant interaction throughout history and this interaction caused them to be referred to together in every period. Although independent states exist in the Balkans today, their connection to Anatolia continues and will continue to exist. Journal of Anatolia and Balkan Studies, published at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University aims at representing a scientific bridge of this connection. In addition, our journal will reinforce this bridge role by bringing together research on Anatolia and the Balkans. The city of Tekirdağ is a unique sign of the existence of this bridge.
