Kocatepe Journal of Football Sciences (KFBD), is a peer-reviewed, open-access online journal that publishes original scientific studies based on scientific methods and data, primarily in the fields of Football, Indoor Football (FUTSAL), Beach Football and Football-related sports, as well as other fields. These studies must be previously unpublished and not submitted to any other journal for publication. They must be written in Turkish and English.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that are incorrectly submitted or do not comply with the journal's writing guidelines. Once the editorial review is completed, the peer-review process for the manuscript will begin. Submission of an "iThenticate" report is mandatory (with a similarity rate not exceeding 15%).
The editorial board may make changes to the timing and order of publication. Articles without an Ethics Committee Approval will not be considered for review.
If a study has been presented at a scientific meeting, its abstract or extended abstract published, or derived from a thesis, the author must clearly indicate this in the note to the editor during submission. The journal cannot be held responsible for any omissions in this regard. Additionally, studies that have been presented as full-text proceedings and converted into articles are not eligible for publication in the journal. Such submissions will be rejected even if they complete the peer-review process.
