The journal is published electronically twice a year, in July and December. Manuscript submissions are accepted throughout the year. All submissions must include an extended abstract.
Guide for Authors
Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration by another journal. All authors are deemed to have approved the content of the manuscript and its submission to the journal.
Manuscript submissions are accepted throughout the year. Publication scheduling is determined according to the date on which the peer-review and editorial evaluation processes are completed. More than one article in which the same author is listed as the first author may not be published in the same issue. If more than one article by the same author has been accepted, the order in which the articles will be published is determined through editorial evaluation.
Papers presented at a scholarly meeting but not previously published in full text may be considered for publication, provided that the name, location, and date of the meeting are clearly stated.
To be considered for evaluation, theoretical and applied research articles submitted to the journal must be prepared using either the Çeşm-i Cihan Turkish Article Template or the Çeşm-i Cihan English Article Template. Manuscripts that do not comply with the relevant template will not be considered for evaluation and may be returned to the author.
Excluding the Turkish abstract, English abstract, and extended abstract, manuscripts are limited to a maximum of 10,000 words or 30 pages. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned to the author with a request for revision and shortening.
Evaluation Process
The manuscript evaluation process takes approximately 8–10 weeks. Submissions are evaluated through a preliminary editorial review followed by a double-blind peer-review process.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal are initially reviewed by the Editorial Board with regard to their alignment with the journal’s aim and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, scholarly quality, ethical declarations, similarity score, and file-submission requirements. Manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary review are assigned by the relevant field editor to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the subject area.
Under the double-blind peer-review system, the identities of the authors are not disclosed to the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors. Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication based on the reviewers’ reports may also be reviewed, where necessary, by the Language Editor, the Ethics and Artificial Intelligence Use Editor, and the proofreader.
The Editorial Board has the final authority to evaluate and decide whether a manuscript deemed suitable for publication on the basis of the reviewers’ reports will be published.

For manuscripts accepted for publication, the Copyright and Publication Agreement Form must be signed by all authors and uploaded to the journal system in PDF format. Manuscripts for which the relevant form has not been uploaded will not be published.
