“Tokat Yöresinde İnsanlar Üzerinde Parazitlenen Sert Kene (Acari: Ixodidae) Türlerinin Sistematik Yönden İncelenmesi ve Bu Kenelerde Riketsiya Varlığının Araştırılması” başlıklı tezi ile Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Biyoloji Ana Bilim Dalı Doktora programından 2014 yılında mezun olarak Doktor ünvanını almıştır. Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi Biyoloji Bölümünde 2010-2019 yılları arasında Uzman ve Öğretim Görevlisi olarak çalışmıştır. 2019’da Biyoloji alanında Doçent ünvanını almış olup hâlen aynı bölümde görevini sürdürmektedir. Amerikan Entomoloji Derneği üyesi olan yazar, 2021 yılından beri Flea News (ABD) dergisi yönetim kurulu üyesisidir. Yazar, Acarological Studies (Türkiye), Animal and Veterinary Sciences (ABD) ve Journal of New Results in Science (Türkiye) dergilerinin editör kurulunda yer almıştır. Şimdiye kadar 50’den fazla yayımlanmış ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel makalesi, 57 adet ulusal ve uluslararası kongrelerde sunulmuş bildirisi bulunmaktadır. Yazar, akademik çalışmalarını ağırlıklı olarak kenelerin sistematiği, ekolojisi ve filogenisi üzerine sürdürmektedir. Ayrıca diğer dış parazitler de (parazit akarlar, bit, pire vb.) akademik ilgi alanları içerisindedir. Yazar; Parazitik Akarlar, Kene Biyolojisi ve Sistematiği, Parazitoloji, Zoonotik Hastalıklar, Koruma Biyolojisi ve Ekoloji derslerini lisans ve lisansüstü düzeyde okutmaktadır.
Bayram Şahin was born in Malatya, Turkey. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Ege University, İzmir, Turkey, in 1993 and his Ph.D from Inonu University in 2000. After graduating, Dr. Şahin worked as a post-doctoral fellow at University of Windsor from March 2003 to September 2003 and a research scholar from June 2007 to September 2007. He has led several TUBITAK funded projects at the interface of manifold theory and maps and he has written (or co-authored) eighty-one academic papers. He is the author of the monograph “Differential Geometry of Lightlike Submanifolds” (2010) , Riemannian Submersions, Riemannian Maps in Hermitian Geometry and Their Applications (2017),and the editors of Turkish Journal of Mathematics, Turkic World Mathematical Society (TWMS) Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Mediterranean Journal of Mathematics. He is the recipient of Masatoshi Gunduz Ikeda research award at 2006. He is now a professor of Mathematics at Ege University, Turkey.
Doç. Dr. Caner GÜNEY lisans öğrenimini İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Geomatik Mühendisliği Bölümünde ve lisansüstü öğrenimlerini de İTÜ Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Geomatik Mühendisliği programında tamamlamıştır. 1999 yılından itibaren aynı bölümde öğretim elemanı olarak çalışmaktadır. İTÜ Bilişim Enstitüsü Coğrafi Bilgi Teknolojlieri proramında, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Geomatik Mühendisliği programında ve İnşaat Fakültesi Geomatik Mühendisliği bölümünde dersler vermektedir. Yoğun olarak çalıştığı konular arasında Mekansal Bilişim, Robotik, yapay öğrenme, GIS, navigasyon, Jeodezi, uydu Jeodezisi, astronomi, otonom sistemler, yapay zeka ve enerji bulunmaktadır. Kurucu üyeleri arasında bulunduğu Mekansal Bilişim İnisiyatifi’nin ve Harita ve Kadastro Mühendisleri Odası İstanbul Şubesi CBS ve Mekansal Bilişim komisyonunun aktif üyesidir. Aynı zamanda Harita Kadastro Tapu Müzesi derneği üyesidir.

1977 Konya doğumlu olan Prof. Dr. Musa Hakan ARSLAN, lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimini 1998 ve 2000 yıllarında İTÜ İnşaat Mühendisliği bölümü ve İTÜ FBE İnşaat ABD'de tamamlamıştır. Arslan, 1998-2003 yılları arasında özel sektörde proje mühendisi olarak çalışmış ve 2003 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesinde akademik hayatına başlamıştır. 2007 yılında tamamladığı doktorasının ardından 2007-2010 yılları arasında Yardımcı Doçent, 2011-2016 yılları arasında Doçent ve 2016'dan beri de profesör olarak görev yapmaktadır. Arslan'ın 2024 yılı itibari ile 100 üzerinde SCI'da taranan dergilerde makalesi, 3100'ün üzerinde Google Ctiation kayıtlarında atıfı, 5 adet patenti bulunmaktadır. Betonarme yapılar, deprem performansı, güçlendirme yöntemleri, prefabrike yapılar ve yapay zekanın yapı mühendisliğinde uygulamaları başlıklarında çalışmalar yapan Arslan'ın halen 4'ü doktora olmak üzere 30'a yakın tamamlanmış lisansüstü danışmanlığı mevcuttur.

The aim of the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology is; publishing original research articles and reviews made in the fields of Science, Engineering in order to create a quality academic contribution in these fields.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology has adopted the principle of publishing qualified scientific studies in the fields of science and engineering. In this context the Journal publishes articles in accordance with the principles and guidelines described on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE: Committee on Publication Ethics) website.
The articles submitted to the journal are checked with the Ithenticate program (Alternatively, Intihal.net) and the obtained originality reports are examined. As of MARCH 1, 2022, studies that do not meet the requirement that the similarity report of the studies submitted to our journal should be less than 30% in total and not more than 5% from a single source will not be considered.
As a result of the detection of cases such as erroneous transfer and distortion of the data created in the articles by the authors, transferring the study without including scientific data, sending the full text of the article published before to our journal. This situation will be reported to the article authors and their work will be rejected. All stakeholders (Editors, Authors, Referees, Publishers and Readers) who contribute to the publication of scientific studies in our journal are expected to comply with the Publication Ethics and Journal Policy. In line with these expectations, the duties and responsibilities of stakeholders are listed below:
A. Authors:
1. The Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology accepts all studies submitted to the journal for evaluation only through the system offered by DergiPark. Studies that are sent by mail, fax, e-mail or other means are not taken into consideration.
2. Authors are obliged to prepare their studies in accordance with the format announced on the website of the JErzincan University Journal of Science and Technology and to submit all required documents (Copyright Transfer Form, Ethics Committee Approval Certificate, etc.) to the journal. Author names, institution information, contact addresses and ORCID information should be given completely and accurately, in case of a change in this information, the journal authorities should be contacted as soon as possible.
3. All responsibility that may arise in terms of avoiding all actions contrary to scientific research and publication ethics and complying with ethical principles belongs to the authors. Plagiarism, forgery, distortion, republishing, slicing, unfair authorship, not specifying the contributions of the institutions and organizations from which support is received, use of thesis studies that have not yet been presented or defended without the permission of their owners, surveys, etc. The authors are responsible for the use of the studies without the express consent of the participants, for the study to be carried out without obtaining the necessary permissions before starting the studies in research and experiments, and for all other violations.
4. It is expected that the studies submitted for evaluation to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology are original.
5. All the sources used in the studies submitted for evaluation to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology must be cited in a complete and correct manner, following the rules specified in the sample article file announced on the website of the course.
6. The studies submitted for evaluation to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology should not be sent to another journal for evaluation at the same time, or the work sent to another journal for evaluation should not be sent to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology for evaluation at the same time. The authors accept this situation when they submit their work to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology for evaluation.
7. If deemed necessary by the members of the editorial board of Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology or the referees evaluating the work, the authors are obliged to present the raw data of their work.
8. Authors must clearly declare all situations and relationships that may constitute a conflict of interest, if any, in their studies submitted to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology for evaluation.
9. The authors are entitled to all usage rights, research/analysis/measurement/survey/evaluation/field study/clinical study, etc. on other subjects, they should have documents showing that they have the necessary permissions and should submit them to the journal when requested.
10. Authors can follow the processes related to their studies submitted for evaluation to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology through the DergiPark system. If they disturb the members of the editorial board with e-mail, telephone and/or other communication channels regarding the status of their work, the evaluation processes of their work can be stopped and terminated.
B. Referees:
1. The scientific content, scientific order, compliance with the principles and standards of the studies submitted for evaluation to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology, and whether they are suitable for publication in a way that will be made available to the public and the scientific community are controlled by the referees. Considering these issues and ethical principles, the invitation to arbitrate should be accepted/rejected.
2. Referee invitations and all processes to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology are made only with the system offered by DergiPark. Referees; Editors, authors, etc. regarding the studies they were invited to evaluate. third parties by telephone, e-mail, fax, etc. If they reach or try to communicate by other means, their arbitration may be deemed invalid. In this context; We evaluated the referees with the "Article Evaluation Form" provided by the Journal of Erzincan University Institute of Science and Technology.
3.The names of researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Journal of Erzincan University Institute of Science and Technology are not disclosed to the authors.
4. Researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology are required to agree to review the studies that fall within their field of expertise, for which they can only spare time and for evaluation.5. The evaluations of researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology, with impartiality and confidentiality; They are expected to do so in an honest, fair and objective manner only with regard to the content of the study. They should not allow factors such as gender, nationality, political views, religious beliefs and commercial concerns to influence the assessment.
6. Researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology are expected to complete their evaluations within the time specified in the field for referees on the journal's website, knowing that the refereeing process requires an effort and should be done with sufficient time.
7. If researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology have a conflict of interest with the authors of the study whose evaluation is requested, it should be reported to the editor or journal editor as soon as possible.
8. Researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology are required to carefully complete the relevant fields in the "Article Evaluation Form", in which they will convey their opinions about the study for which evaluation is requested, and fill in the fields to be sent to the editor and authors carefully. They are expected to use a constructive and courteous language and attitude in their evaluations, and to convey their criticisms and suggestions in accordance with academic ethics. Expressions containing humiliating, hostile, insulting, belittling and/or similar personal comments should be avoided.
9. Researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology should clearly and descriptively state the rationale for their decisions in the "Article Evaluation Form", where they will convey their opinions about the study for which evaluation is requested. Keeping in mind that sloppy and sloppy assessments require a re-arbitration process, they should avoid attitudes that waste the time of all parties involved.
10. Researchers and/or experts invited as referees to the JErzincan University Journal of Science and Technology are required to keep their opinions confidential during and after the process, regardless of their opinions about the work they are evaluating.
C. Editors:
1. The Editorial Board is responsible for increasing the scientific quality of the Erzincan University Journal of Science and Technology and making efforts to search and index it in various scientific platforms.
2. The Editorial Board attaches importance to the confidentiality of the articles sent to the Journal, does not share any information about these articles with third parties, does not give any information about the authors mentioned in the articles, does not share any information about the authors and the referees.
3. The Editorial Board is responsible for each article submitted to the journal, and the review of the article to be published, the selection of the referees in a transparent manner taking into account the study subjects and their submission to the referees, and the determination of acceptance/rejection status are decided by the Editorial Board.
4. While the Editorial Board makes a positive or negative decision regarding the publication of the articles in the Journal; It pays attention to the contribution of the article to the field, to be distinguishable from other studies in the related field, to the validity of the research methods, to the clarity of the narrative and to give sufficient references.
5. The studies prepared in accordance with the draft of the article in the writing rules are taken to the pre-control stage by Editorial Board, and the studies that are deemed appropriate in the pre-control are sent to the referees for evaluation. Evaluations and suggestions from the referees are sent to the authors without sharing the referee information. After the necessary corrections, the final decision to publish the article in the journal is made by the Editorial Board.

No application, evaluation and/or publication fee is charged for any of the articles submitted to the journal for evaluation.
