Farabi Tıp Dergisi

Farabi Medical Journal (Farabi Med J) is the official scientific publication of the Faculty of Medicine at Karadeniz Technical University. It is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original clinical and experimental research articles, case reports, editorials, and letters to the editor in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, and health sciences.

Only invited review articles are considered for evaluation at the request of the editorial board.

Language of Publication: As of August 2025, only manuscripts written in English will be considered for review.

Publication Frequency:  As of 2026, Farabi Medical Journal has adopted the Continuous Publication model. Accepted articles are published online

immediately within a single annual Volume as soon as the layout process is finalized, without waiting for a scheduled issue. This model ensures the

rapid and direct dissemination of scientific research to the academic community.

Indexing: Farabi Medical Journal has been indexed in the EBSCO database since September 2024, and our publications are accessible via the EBSCO platform.

Fee Policy: No fees are charged at any stage, including submission, peer review, or publication. Authors do not receive royalties for published articles.

Author Guidelines: All manuscripts must conform to the journal’s author guidelines and article template.

Ethical Compliance: Manuscripts involving human or animal subjects must include a statement of ethical approval from the relevant ethics committee, clearly stated within the manuscript.

All submissions are screened for plagiarism, and any violation of publication ethics will result in rejection.

Publication Conditions: Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or concurrently submitted to another journal.
