Established in 2006 under the Dr. İbrahim Bodur Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, the Journal of Entrepreneurship and Development (GKD) is an international, peer-reviewed periodical that has been published biannually in digital format since 2015.
The primary objective of the journal is to provide an interdisciplinary platform that examines the dynamic link between the entrepreneurship ecosystem and sustainable development. It aims to contribute innovative ideas, entrepreneurship theories, and regional/national development strategies to both literature and practice through scientific evaluation. The journal seeks to build a bridge between academics, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.
By publishing original research, theoretical discussions, and case studies in core disciplines—such as Business Administration, Economics, Political Science and Public Administration, Statistics, Econometrics, and Sociology—as well as thematic and applied fields like Management Information Systems, Environmental Sciences, Educational Sciences, and Technology and Innovation Management, the journal contributes to the scientific body of knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship and development.
