Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Check
Plagiarism means presenting the original ideas, methods, data or works of others as one's own work, in whole or in part, without attribution in accordance with scientific rules.
Gazi Journal of Economics and Business, due to its publication ethics, requires that every work that has gone through the blind peer-review process to be checked for plagiarism in order to preserve its integrity. In this context, a report from iThenticate, Turnitin or intihal.net must be uploaded to the system for each study. Articles accepted after peer-review will be reviewed by our journal for plagiarism before publication. The main thing is that the similarity rate should not exceed 20%, no matter which plagiarism program is used.
For the articles derived from studies such as thesis or previously published paper, similarity rate should not exceed 20% as well between the derived study and the article. For example, for articles derived from the thesis, the similarity ratio between the thesis and the article can be seen in the report to be obtained from intihal.net and the similarity rate should not be more than 20%.
