1964 Balıkesir doğumlu, Balıkesir İmam-Hatip Lisesi (1982) ve Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi (1986) mezunu, aynı üniversitenin Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsünde YL (1988) ve Dr. (1994) tamamladı. 1997'de doçent, 2003'de profesör oldu. İSAM (1986-92), Selçuk Üniversitesi sonra Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi (1992-2013), Bakü Devlet Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi'nde (1999-2002) görev yaptı, 2013'de İzmir Katip Çelebi Üniversitesi İslami İlimler Fakültesi'nin (sonra İlahiyat Fakültesi) kurucu dekanı olarak atandı, halen bu Üniversitenin rektörü olarak görev yapmaktadır. İslam Hukuku Araştırmaları Dergisi'nin (2003-) baş editörüdür (şu anda yayımlanan 44 sayı).

He was born in Erzurum in 1981. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Erzurum. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 2003. He completed his master's degree at Marmara University Social Sciences Institute in 2010. In 2016, he completed his doctorate at Atatürk University Social Sciences Institute with his thesis titled "Compensation of Benefits in Islamic Law". In 2012, he started working as a research assistant at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Theology. In 2016, he received his Ph.D. degree in Islamic Law from the same faculty. Lecturer He was appointed as a member. He received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Basic Islamic Sciences on 29.09.2021. He currently continues to work as an Associate Professor at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Theology. He has various books, articles and papers published in the fields of Islamic law, Islamic Legal History, Islamic Legal Procedure, Islamic Economics and Finance.

Khairunnisa Musari is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) & Postgraduate Program, Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University (UIN KHAS), Jember, Indonesia. She is a Secretary of the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) for the Provincial Board of East Java since 2017. Her research interests in sukuk, waqf, esham, fiscal & monetary policies, circular economy, halal logistics, sustainable finance, climate change, and Islamic microfinance & nanofinance. She has several book chapters with international reputable publishers such as IGI Global, Emerald Publishing Limited, World Scientific Publishing, Routledge, Springer, and Palgrave Macmillan. She has experience as a Senior Specialist for Islamic Finance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia and was listed as one of the Top 300 Most Influential Women in Islamic Business & Finance 2019, 2020, 2021, WOMANi Significancica 2022, and WOMANi Academica 2023, 2024, by Cambridge-IFA.
