Code of Ethics and Plagiarism Policy

Ethical Responsibilities of the Authors:

• Studies submitted to the journal must comply with national and international ethical rules. In this context, it may be suggested

• Ethics commission permission must be obtained from the relevant commission in human participation studies and it must be submitted to the editorial board through the journal system. If the scale is used in the study, it is obligatory to obtain permission from the owners of the scales in question, and a copy of this permission must be submitted to the editorial board through the journal system.

• By sending their articles to İNİF E- Journal for publication Author/s transfer their copyrights to İnönü University Faculty of Communication Electronic Journal (İNİF E-Journal).

• The copyright of the published articles belongs to İNİF E-Journal and these articles cannot be cited without reference.

• Articles should not contain derogatory, insulting and targeting content about anyone's personal rights. Discriminatory statements against religion, language, gender or race should not be used. The legal responsibility of the articles published in İNİF E- Journal belongs to the author/s themselves.

• All references made in the text should be included in the bibliography of the study, and all references in the bibliography should be cited in the text. The responsibility to cite belongs to the author/s themselves.

• Plagiarism report of all studies submitted to İNİF E- Journal for evaluation has been obtained from iThenticate or Turnitin program and this report should be submitted to the editorial board through the journal system. The similarity rate of the plagiarism report should not be over 15%.

• Studies submitted for evaluation within the scope of İNİF E- Journal must not be sent to another journal at the same time.

• In case the content under copyright is included in the works, it is necessary to comply with the copyright regulations for the content.

Studies requiring ethics committee approval are as follows:

• All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using questionnaires, interviews, focus group work, observation, experimentation, interview techniques.

• Use of humans and animals (including material/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,

• Clinical studies on humans,

• Research on animals,

• Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data,

Additionally;
• Stating that "informed consent form" has been obtained in case reports,
• Obtaining and indicating permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others
• Stating that copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used

In studies that do not require the permission of the ethics committee, the responsible author is supposed to add the statement " '..................' titled article which I/ we have sent to be evaluated within the scope of İNİF E-JOURNAL, does not require ethics committee permission. " to the word file, sign and upload it to the system.

Ethical Responsibilities of Referees
o All information about the article evaluated should be kept confidential.
o Documents regarding the refereeing process should not be shared with third parties other than the journal's editorial team.
o The principle of impartiality must be followed in the evaluation process.
o Articles should be evaluated within the given time.
o Referees should be in cooperation with the editor during the review process of the articles.
o Any humiliating statements about individuals should not be included in the review reports.
o Corrections requested from the author should be clearly stated.


Authorities and Ethical Responsibilities of the Editorial Board
• The decision on whether the articles sent to the journal will be evaluated or not is in the editorial board of the journal.
• "Blind Review and Evaluation Process" policies are applied in the journal publishing policies. Therefore, the review process of the studies is completed objectively and on time.
• Personal data of the authors and referees are protected by the editorial board.
• Editorial board has to give detailed information to questions from authors and referees.
