Elderly Issues Research Journal is scanned by many international indexes such as DOAJ, Crossref, ASCI, Paperity.
Elderly Issues Research Journal (EIRJ) is the official publication of the Elderly Issues Research Association (YASAD), which was established to lay the groundwork for scientific research on aging. The journal first began to be printed on paper in 2001, and it has been published in e-journal form since 2008. The journal has been publishing on the TÜBİTAK-DERGİPARK platform since 2015.
Original research articles on aging-related issues are published in the journal. Scientific articles that examine aging from "social, cultural, economic, political, psychological, ergonomic and architectural aspects" rather than its biological dimension and produce solutions are accepted to the journal.
In each issue, not exceeding 1/3 of the total number of articles can be published by invitation, compilations, letters to the editor, reviews and comments.
No fee is charged for peer-review and publication in the journal.
Before submitting the article, the "Ethical Principles and Publication Policy" page must be reviewed.
Articles submitted for publication are evaluated by at least 2 referees nationally and / or internationally. The names of the referees evaluating the articles are not reported to the authors (blind peer review). In addition, referees are also guaranteed to evaluate articles without seeing the author names (double-blind peer review).
