Savaş Yeşilyurt, a faculty member in the Department of English Language Education at Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education, continues his research on topics such as affective factors, self-regulation, autonomous learning, and learner participation in foreign language teaching and learning.
Deepti Tagare has a Ph.D. in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Bridge-to-Faculty program at University of Texas at San Antonio. As an engineer turned educational researcher her primary area of research is computer science education. She investigates the integration of computational thinking skills and AI literacy in K-12 education with a special focus on teacher-readiness to implement these competencies in their teaching. She has worked closely with Association of Computing Machinery - India to facilitate teacher trainings on computational thinking skills.
As part of the NSF funded project, DEAPening Employer-Academia Partnership, she examined the need for cross-disciplinary skills and dispositional competencies in undergraduate computing degree program curricula and continues to work with computer science faculty across various higher education institutions in the United States to implement this change in their courses. In the past 10 years, she has worked on several instructional design projects in both industry and academia that include smartbooks, ebooks, AI-based learning platforms, Augmented Reality learning environments, and gamified learning content.
Lisans eğitimini Hacettepe Üniversitesi Eğitim Programları ve Öğretim Ana Bilim Dalı’nda tamamlayan yazar, yüksek lisans derecesini devlet bursuyla gittiği İngiltere Newcastle Üniversitesi Eğitim Bölümü’nden; doktora derecesini ise Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Programları ve Öğretim Anabilim Dalı’ndan almıştır. TÜBA bursuyla Indiana Üniversitesi'nde; Fulbright bursuyla Boston Üniversitesi'nde; DAAD bursuyla Hamburg Üniversitesi'nde akademik araştırmalar yapmıştır. 2005 yılında Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak Atatürk Üniversitesi'nde görev yaptıktan sonra 2012 yılında Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi'ne geçmiştir. 2017 yılından bu yana profesör olarak görev yapmaktadır. Başlıca çalışma alanları; program geliştirme ve değerlendirme, değerler eğitimi, insan hakları ve demokrasi eğitimi, akademik yazma, nitel araştırma ve öğretmen yetiştirmedir.
Mark Dressman is Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His areas of research include literacy education, curriculum development, and Informal Digital Learning of English (IDLE). He is the co-editor of a book series on Literacy in Global Perspectives and author of a three-volume series on Literacy, as well as six books and more than 35 journal articles. He is a former Fulbright Scholar in Morocco and Visiting Scholar at the University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, in France.
I am a professor of chemistry education. I have been teaching courses mainly on research methods in education and teaching and learning of science and chemistry at the secondary level. My research interests include teacher training, curriculum evaluation, how students learn in science/chemistry, undergraduates’ understandings of chemical ideas in thermodynamics, context-based teaching, problem-based learning, trends in science/chemistry education, and teaching science/chemistry to visually impaired students.
I have served in IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry - www.iupac.org) Committee on Chemistry Education as a titular member (2008-2015) and chair (2016-2017). Currently, I am representing Turkey as a national representative in the same committee since 2018.
I am also a member of some national and international organizations serving in science or chemistry education as well as taking active roles such as board memberships and administrative duties.

Dr. Sayeedur Rahman is Professor of English and former Director of the Institute of Modern Languages (IML) at the University of Dhaka. He served as a Distinguished Visiting Research Scholar at the Advanced Research Collaborative (ARC), CUNY (City University of New York) Graduate Center.
Dr. Rahman holds a Ph.D. in English Language Teaching. He has a distinguished career as a consultant, leading numerous English Language Teaching projects for prestigious organizations such as the Defence Services Command and Staff College, the Open University-UK, UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, British Council, and English in Action.
With over 25 years of experience as an English as a Second Language/English as a Foreign Language teacher and researcher, Dr. Rahman has made significant contributions to the field. His research expertise lies in Second Language Acquisition, EduTech and Sociolinguistics, evidenced by his extensive publications in these areas.
He is a recipient of prestigious fellowships, including the Researcher Links fellowship from the British Council, UK, and the American Center's fellowship for Professional Development for Teacher Trainer module from Arizona State University in 2018. He has also completed postdoctoral research at the Open University, UK.
Dr. Rahman is a certified Master Trainer by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the British Council, Bangladesh. His areas of expertise and research interest encompass academic writing in ESOL contexts, EFL syllabus design and materials development, socio-psychological study of EFL/TESOL, sociolinguistics, individual differences in language learning, and EAP/ESP.
