Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work is an internationally refereed journal that adopts double-blind peer-review process. Editorial board of our journal follows Editorial Policy of the Council of Scientific Committee.
Our journal is published twice a year in June and December.

Publication Ethics and Plagiarism
It is obligatory to present the Ethics Committee Certificate in the research articles belonging to the articles sent to our journals. Although compilation articles do not generally require the presentation of the Ethics Committee Approval, if the article contains some specific information and data, this issue will be assessed separately by the Editor. All legal and scientific responsibilities arising from authors' works after publication in the editorial process belong to the authors.
Writers must comply with the Helsinki Declaration, the Guide to Good Practice in Envi- ronment, and the Guide to Good Laboratory Practice. There is absolutely no place in the publications for consultant or patient name or any information that may reveal the identities of these individuals. Some applications may be reviewed by the Scientfic journals Ethics Advisors.
The articles containing more than 15% similarity rate after plagarism examination are sent back to the author.
Preparation of Publication
Article submission to Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work must be carried out online and the authors should write their ORCID numbers in the corresponding division in the system. The system language is English. It is the responsibility of the outhors to declare that the articles sent to Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work was not published anywhere before or the articles sent to the journal are not in review process of any publication source.
The articles in English or German languages should include Turkish title and Turkish abstract. The summary sections must be at least 150 words and must not exceed 250 words.
It is recommended that authors who do not use these languages as their native languages should apply to the system with the Formal Certificate of Language Control and Correction. In case the language of the letters sent to our Scientfic journals for evaluation is not understood or significant mistakes are detected, Editor may refuse these applications from the beginning and request to re-apply with Formal Certificate of Language Control and Correction.
Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work does not charge a fee for any reason in article submissions or the evaluation process. Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work is an academic journal supporting open access.
Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work, which is an international refereed academic journal, embarks on double-blind peer-review.
The manuscripts submitted to the journal are first reviewed by the technical editor. It is assessed whether or not the article is prepared with the necessary forms according to the journal rules. The candidates who pass this stage are then subjected to pre-evaluation process by the field editors or editor. The articles passing the preliminary assessment will be subjected to at least two refrees who has knowledge with the relevant academic work. If the opinions of the referees are positive, the editor accepts the work in the publication phase by doing the final review. In the event of a negative opinion from one of the refrees, the final decision shall be made by the editor in consultation with a third refree. In the articles requested to be corrected, the authors are usually asked to make the necessary corrections within a month and the editor can make a decision to have the article reviewed in accordance with the opinion of the reviewers requesting correction. The editor may accept direct publication in a limited number of studies which will be original and contribute to the field. In addition, the editorial board can request some leading names in the field to prepare articles on a particular topic.
