Dilşad Engin received her B.S. degree from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey, in 1985, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Ege University Solar Energy Institute, Izmir, Turkey, in 1996 and 2006, respectively. She works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Control and Automation Technology, Ege University Higher Vocational School, Izmir, Turkey, teaching digital electronics, sensors, transducers, programmable logic controllers, and SCADA systems. Her research interests are solar cells, automatic control, programmable logic controllers, and SCADA systems and instrumentation. Engin is an electrical and electronics engineer.
