Journal of Language Education and Research (JLERE) is a professional, bi-annual (April and October issues), and double-blind peer-reviewed international journal. Our journal is indexed/listed by ULAKBIM TR Index, MLA International Bibliography,  Linguistics Abstracts Online, ERIH PLUS, CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library), SIS, SOBIAD, ResearchBib, The Linguist List, Directory of Research Journal Indexing, Google Scholar, Index of Turkish Education, and PBN (Polska Bibliografia Naukowa).

Journal of Language Education and Research (JLERE) aims to contribute to the academic development of teachers as well as academics through publishing unique and scientific manuscripts related to all levels, from pre-school to tertiary education, in the fields of teaching and learning mother and foreign languages. 

Publication Frequency
The journal publishes two issues per annum (April and October). 

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal of Language Education and Research (JLERE) aims to contribute to the academic development of teachers as well as academics through publishing unique and scientific manuscripts related to all levels, from pre-school to tertiary education, in the fields of teaching and learning mother and foreign languages. 

In line with this aim, any unique, theoretical, conceptual, or methodological scientific manuscript written in English on any issue related to language teaching and learning can be submitted to the journal for possible consideration for publication. The manuscripts to be submitted for the journal should not have been published before or submitted to any other publisher for consideration. Journal of Language Education and Research (JLERE) is a professional, double-blind peer-reviewed international journal.

Authors are kindly asked to refer to Author Guidelines and Manuscript Templates for detailed information on the formatting issues. 

All manuscripts to be submitted should be written based on the author guidelines and formatted on the manuscript templates and APA referencing style. Author(s) cannot submit previously submitted but rejected manuscripts at the end of the review process. 


Journal of Language Education and Research follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which are available on www.publicationethics.org.
