Peer Review and Publishing Process
In the first stage, the study is evaluated in terms of plagiarism, suitability for the journal and spelling rules. The editor initiates the double blind peer review process. The referees reject or accept the study, or give corrections. Referees look at the following qualifications at this stage;
-Whether the work is original or new,
-Good explanation of study design and method
-Considering new studies on the subject,
-Consistency of purpose, method, analysis, findings and results,
-The results are presented appropriately and clearly,
-The suitability of the study for the journal,
-The study was written according to the journal rules,
-The results are reliable, meaningful and supported by research,
After the answers of at least two referees are evaluated, chief editor make the final decision. If the study is accepted for publication, it is sent to the language editor. If the language editor does not see fit, it can request proofread or, if it sees fit, it is sent to the misanpage editor to be ready for publication.

Editorial Board of the KUSBFD complies with the criteria of the International Council of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
We accept all terms and conditions of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) about plagiarism. In case any attempt of plagiarism is brought to our attention accompanied by convincing evidence, we act based on flow charts and workflows determined in COPE.
The papers are submitted and analyzed, the originality report, a similarity index, and the URLs of the reference sites present to you.

Kastamonu Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Dergisi, tıp, sosyal ve sağlık bilimleri ile ilgili multidisipliner alanlarda klinik ve deneysel özgün makaleler, derlemeler, olgu sunumları, video kayıtları, görüntü tasarımları ve çalışmaları içermektedir. Derginin amacı, tıp, sağlık bilimleri ve sağlığı ilgilendiren sosyal alanlarla ilgili makaleler yayınlamanın yanı sıra multidisipliner makalelerin yanı sıra video kaydı/sağlıkla ilgili sanatsal tasarımlar gibi farklı yayınlara ortam sağlamaktır. Sağlıkla ilgili çalışmalar yayınlanabilir. Dergi, yayınladığı makalelerde ilgili etik kurallara ve bilimsel standartlara uymayı, ticari kaygı taşımamayı amaçlar. Dergi, yayınlanmayı bekleyen makale sayısı ne olursa olsun, gönderilen makalelerin süreçlerini en kısa sürede tamamlamayı hedeflemektedir.
