Dr. Erkol Bayram is currently Professor and vice-dean in tourism faculty, department of tour guiding, University of Sinop, Sinop, Turkey. Dr. Erkol Bayram has worked as an internal trainer and teacher in the tour guiding arena. Her doctorate is in Tourism Management from the Sakarya University, Turkey, and she completed her dissertation research on Tour Guiding in Turkey. Her core subjects are Tourism, tour guiding, tourism policy and Planning, women studies. Erkol Bayram has also worked as a professional tour guide in the tourism sector. She has many book chapters in the international arena and published her books as an editor and author in the national arena. She has been invited for many talks/lectures/ panel discussions by different Universities and countries. She has a member of eminent journals in advisory board editor and she published articles in tourism and Management areas.

Dr. Mustafa ÜLKER, 30 Haziran 1992'de Antalya'da doğmuştur. İlk ve orta öğretimini Antalya'da tamamlamıştır. Lise öğrenimini Antalya Turizm Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Lisesi'nde tamamlayan (2010) Ülker, Akdeniz Üniversitesi Turizm Fakültesi Yiyecek ve İçecek İşletmeciliği bölümünden mezun olmuştur (2014). Lise ve üniversite yıllarında yurtiçinde ve yurtdışında birçok konaklama işletmesi mutfağında ve restoranında stajlar yaptıktan ve çalıştıktan sonra Erciyes Üniversitesi Turizm Fakültesi'ne Araştırma Görevlisi olarak atanmıştır (2015). Yüksek lisansını Turizm İşletmeciliği Anabilim Dalında tamamlayan (2017) Ülker, Gazi Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Turizm İşletmeciliği Anabilim Dalı'nda doktor unvanını almıştır (2022). Halen Erciyes Üniversitesi Turizm Fakültesinde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak çalışmaktadır. Turizm ve gastronomi alanlarında ulusal ve uluslararası çalışmalarını yürüten Ülker'in ulusal ve uluslararası birçok yemek yarışmasından da ödülleri bulunmaktadır.

Dr. Ayşegül Gündüz Songur is a resourceful educator and researcher with a diverse interdisciplinary background. She earned her PhD in Public Relations from Marmara University (Istanbul, Türkiye) and holds two master’s degrees: one in Hospitality Management from the University of South Florida, USA, and another in Global Marketing Management from Staffordshire University, England, UK, which were preceded by her foundational BA degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies from Boğazici University, Istanbul, Türkiye.

She moved to Orlando, Florida in 2015, bringing with her over 20 years of experience from various roles in corporate, academic, and administrative sectors. These roles include that of a college educator, higher education marketer, international student recruiter, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator (European Union Lifelong Learning Program), project management expert, translator, proofreader, content creator, public relations professional and international trade executive. Her extensive background includes managing study abroad programs, events and representing institutions at global conferences, showcasing her exceptional organizational and cross-cultural communication skills.

Having traveled to over 50 countries for educational projects, global events, and international marketing, Dr. Songur identifies as a global citizen with a profound understanding of cross-cultural communication. Her research interests span hospitality and tourism marketing, destination marketing, gastrotourism, event tourism, integrated marketing communications, public relations, and CSR strategies. She has co-authored five peer-reviewed journal articles, three book chapters, and has several manuscripts in progress. Dr. Songur has presented at numerous conferences in the US and Europe, contributing to 13 refereed conference proceedings. She also serves as a reviewer for a number of prestigious journals and conferences.

Since Fall 2021, Dr. Songur has been serving as a Lecturer at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, teaching courses such as HFT 2750: Event Industry, HFT 3391:Fairs and Festivals, HFT 3700: Tourism Management, HFT 3391: Experiences in Sporting Events, and HFT 4757: Event Tourism Destinations, HFT3593: Entertainment Consumer Behavior, HFT 2071: Introduction to the Entertainment Industry, and HFT 3594: Entertainment Brand Relations and Publicity, the latter of which she created and designed in Spring 2022. While continuing her role at UCF, Dr. Songur was also invited to serve as an Adjunct Faculty member at USF Muma College of Business School of Hospitality and Tourism. She introduced courses such as HFT 3894 International Food and Culture and HFT 3003 Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism at the USF St. Petersburg Campus. These courses were well-received, leading her to teach them for five consecutive semesters at both the St. Petersburg and Tampa campuses between Spring 2022-2024. She also created and taught two new online courses for USF Muma College of Business School of Hospitality and Tourism: HFT 4930 Public Relations and Communications in Hospitality and Tourism and HFT 3754 Fairs and Conventions Management. A culinary enthusiast, she enjoys cooking with fresh ingredients and has organized numerous culinary events. Muhsin Halis, lisans eğitimini Atatürk Üniversitesi İşletme Bölümü’nde tamamlamıştır. Yüksek
lisans derecesini 1995 yılında, Atatürk Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Yönetim ve Organizasyon
programında "Çalışma ortamı ve iş çevresine ilişkin ergonomik faktörlerin analizi ve bir uygulama"
başlıklı teziyle Prof. Dr. Feyzullah Eroğlu danışmanlığında almıştır. Doktora çalışmalarını ise 1998
yılında Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü İşletme programında "Toplam kalite
yönetimi uygulamalarında iç müşteri tatminini etkileyen faktörler ve bir uygulama" konulu teziyle Prof.
Dr. İbrahim Yıldırım danışmanlığında tamamlamıştır. Akademik kariyerine 1994 yılında Cumhuriyet
Üniversitesi’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak başlayan Muhsin Halis, 1999-2006 yılları arasında Gaziantep
Üniversitesi’nde Doçent olarak görev yapmıştır. 2006 yılında Sakarya Üniversitesi’nde Profesör
unvanını alarak 2016 yılına kadar burada çalışmıştır. Bu süreçte Kırgızistan-Türkiye Manas Üniversitesi
(2011-2013), Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi (2013-2014), Kastamonu Üniversitesi (2013-2016) ve Bolu
Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi’nde (2018-2021) dekanlık görevlerini yürütmüştür. Halen Kocaeli
Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi’nde dekanlık görevine devam etmektedir. Muhsin Halis, ulusal ve
uluslararası birçok bilimsel araştırma projesinde yer almıştır. 60’tan fazla uluslararası ve ulusal makale,
yine 60’tan fazla tebliğ ve 50’nin üzerinde kitap ve kitap bölümü yayınlayan Halis, bunun yanı sıra
birçok akademik faaliyette bulunmuştur.

Engin Aytekin is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Guidance, Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU), Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye, where he also serves as the Faculty's International Relations Coordinator. His research interests span tourism management, organizational behaviour, marketing, and consumer behaviour within the hospitality and tourism sector. His scholarly work addresses a broad range of topics, including wellness and health tourism, the performance of tourist guides and occupational issues, word-of-mouth communication in local food tourism, and the role of cultural heritage in destination image formation. He has contributed to international academic publications and to peer-reviewed journals.

Turizm işletmeciliği anabilim dalından hem lisans hem de yüksek lisans derecesi aldı. Halen doktora eğitimine devam ediyor. Özellikle turizm pazarlaması ve nöroturizm ile ilgileniyor.
