Editorial decisions at Yegah Musicology Journal are made in accordance with the principles of academic integrity, scientific quality, and impartiality.
The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
Peer review reports constitute the foundation of the editorial decision-making process. When reviewer evaluations are deemed objective, well-reasoned, and academically sound, editorial decisions are guided accordingly. Where necessary, editors may conduct additional evaluations of the manuscript.
The journal’s owner, sponsors, or any affiliated institutions do not influence editorial decisions, either directly or indirectly. Editorial independence is a fundamental principle of the journal.
In cases of a potential conflict of interest involving editors or reviewers, the individual concerned is withdrawn from the evaluation process. The Editor-in-Chief promptly appoints alternative reviewers or editors to ensure the continuity and integrity of the review process.
