Mustafa Akdağ 1976 yılında Konya’da doğdu. 1999 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Bölümü’nü bitirdi. Selçuk Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Anabilim Dalı Halkla İlişkiler Bilim Dalı’nda 2001 yılında yüksek lisansını ve 2007 yılında doktorasını tamamladı. 1999 yılından 2006 yılına kadar Selçuk Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım bölümünde Arş.Gör. olarak görevlendirildi. 2007 yılında Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Bölümü’ne Yardımcı Doçent atandı. Aynı yıl Erciyes Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Bölümü’ne Yardımcı Doçent olarak geçiş yaptı. 2010 yılında Doçentliğini aldı. 2015 yılında Erciyes Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Bölümü’ne Prof. olarak atandı. Aynı bölümde 2011-2020 yılları arasında Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım bölüm başkanı olarak görev yapmıştır. Aynı zamanda Erciyes Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Dekanlığı görevini 2016-2020 ve Yozgat Bozok Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Dekanlığı görevini 2020-2023 arasında yürütmüştür. Evli ve üç çocuk babasıdır.

Başlıca çalışma alanları halkla ilişkiler, kriz yönetimi ve insan kaynakları olup, bu alanlarda “Örgütsel Açıdan İnsan Kaynakları ve Halkla İlişkiler”, “Dünden Bugüne Halkla İlişkiler” (Editörlü) ve “Kriz Yönetimi: İletişimsel Temelde Çözüm Odaklı Stratejik Yaklaşımlar” (Editörlü) “Ekip Çalışması ve Liderlik” (Editörlü) isimli dört kitabı, uluslararası ve ulusal hakemli dergilerde çeşitli makaleleri, bildirileri ve kitap içinde bölümleri bulunmaktadır.

Soheil Kafiliveyjuyeh (PHD, LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY, 2024) is an assistant professor of communication in the College of Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. His research explores the use of social media in public diplomacy, moral decision-making, media representations, the impact of AI on Communication, global communication, and mass media effects. Kafiliveyjuyeh received his B.A. in Journalism from the School of Media Studies at the University of Applied Sciences (Iran) in 2013. While working as a freelance reporter and social media specialist at the American Culture Association in Ankara, Turkey, Kafiliveyjuyeh took courses to attain his M.A. in Journalism at Gazi University of Ankara, Turkey, graduating in 2018. His work has been published in the International Journal of Advertising, Online Media and Global Communication, New Media (Yeni Medya), and others.

Lisans öğrenimini Denizli Pamukkale Üniversitesi Türkçe Öğretmenliği programında 1990 yılında tamamladı. Aynı yıl Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı Denizli ili Baklan ilçesinde Beyelli-Kavaklar İlköğretim Okulu’nda Türkçe Öğretmeni olarak çalışmaya başladı. 2010 yılında Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi’nde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. 2010 yılında Pamukkale Üniversitesi’nde yüksek lisansını, 2013 yılında Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi’nde doktora eğitimini tamamladı. Doktora tezini dil eğitiminde argümantasyon çalıştı. Doktora eğitimi sürecinde Avrupa Araştırmalar Birliği’nin İngiltere Birmingham Üniversitesi’nde ve Norveç Trondheim Üniversitesi’nde düzenlediği yöntemle ilgili yaz okullarına katıldı. Doktora ders döneminde alan derslerinin yanında nitel, nicel ve karma araştırma yöntemleriyle ilgili dersler aldı. Pandemi dönemine kadar çalışmalarını dinleme eğitimi, yazma eğitimi, okuma eğitimi, konuşma eğitimi ve yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi üzerine yaptı. Pandemi
döneminden sonra araştırmalarını Türkçe Eğitimi ve Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçenin Öğretimi’nde dijitalleşme, dijital dönüşüm konularına yönelik yaptı. Türkçe Eğitimi ve Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçenin Öğretimi alanında 43 yüksek lisans, 2 doktora tez danışmanlığı yapmış olup 10 yüksek lisans, 1 doktora öğrencisi tez yazma çalışmalarına devam etmektedir. SSCI indekslerinden taranan 2 makalesi, ESCI ve alan indekslerinden taranan 8 makalesi, TR dizinde taranan 27 makalesi, diğer uluslararası indekslerde taranan
46 makalesi bulunmaktadır. Uluslararası bilimsel toplantılarda sunulan ve tam metin olarak yayımlanan 27 bildirisi, özet metin olarak yayımlanan 44 bildirisi bulunmaktadır. Yazarlığını yaptığı 3 kitabı, 81 kitap bölümü, editörlüğünü yaptığı 17 kitabı bulunmaktadır. 16 projede yürütücü, araştırmacı, eğtimen olarak yer almıştır. 15 farklı dergide editör, dil editörü, alan editörü, editör yardımcısı, yayın kurulu üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Uluslararası 17 kongrenin düzenleme kurulunda görev almış, yine uluslararası 35
kongrede bilim kurulu üyesi olarak görev yapmıştır. 17 farklı panel ve çalıştayda görev almıştır. 1 tane 2209 projesine danışmanlık yapmış, farklı kurum ve kuruluşlardan 5 ödül almıştır. Bölümde farklı koordinatörlük görevleri bulunmaktadır. 2015 yılından bu yana lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora düzeyinde birçok farklı derse girmiştir ve girmeye devam etmektedir. Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi’nde Eğitim Fakültesi Dekan Yardımcılığı, yönetim kurulu üyeliği, bölüm başkan yardımcılığı, ana bilim dalı başkanı, merkez müdür yardımcısı gibi birçok farklı yönetim görevinde yer almıştır. Doç. Dr. Fatih Kana, araştırmalarını çağın gereksinimlerine uygun olarak araştırmalarını Türkçe eğitiminde yapay zeka kullanımı alanında sürdürmektedir. 

I trained and worked with Francesco Casetti and Gianfranco Bettetini in film and media studies. My approach derives from semiotics and cultural studies: I mainly focused on the constitution of viewer experience by media and post-media dispositives within different historical and cultural contexts. More recently, I recovered conceptual tools from cognitive neurosciences to recast the idea of audiovisual media experience; from this point of view, I am currently studying (by integrating theoretical and experimental methodologies) the relationship between audiovisual styles and the spectator’s perception of time and rhythm

As the rector's representative for the quality of education and inter-university and international relations, I have achieved considerable success. I strengthened the process of internationalization of the university. I have laid the foundations for a strategic partnership with five leading European teaching centres. I created a network of foreign contacts enabling the implementation of program assumptions with the use of distance learning. I became a reviewer for one of the Philippines' leading political science and journalism journals. I have published articles and chapters in peer-reviewed publications. I am the editorial secretary of the university magazine "Fides, Ratio et Patria". I co-organized numerous scientific events, also remotely.

On behalf of the University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń, I decided to enter into a strategic partnership project with, among others: Universita Degli Studi della Tuscia in Viterbo.
The task of the ERASMUS+ KA102 project is to research innovative crisis management practices in the Erasmus community (RIPEC).
RIPEC aims to coordinate joint research and issues and adopt innovative methods and tools to deal with Erasmus mobility crisis management.
The partnership includes six European universities:

The University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń has become a member of the strategic partnership initiated by the Italian partner, called GREENO2.
