About the Journal

The International Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences (IJPAS) (ISSN: 2149-0910) is an international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, open-access scholarly journal published by Munzur University. The journal publishes high-quality original research articles, review articles, short communications, and technical notes covering all areas of pure sciences, applied sciences, and engineering.

To enhance the international visibility and accessibility of published research, the journal will accept English-language manuscripts only starting from Volume 12, Issue 2 (December 2026). Until this policy takes effect, manuscripts continue to be accepted in both English and Turkish. Turkish manuscripts that entered the editorial and peer-review processes before the implementation of the new language policy will be published in Volume 12, Issue 1 and earlier issues upon completion of the editorial procedures. Starting from Volume 12, Issue 2, all submitted and published articles will be exclusively in English.

IJPAS is published biannually, with issues released in June and December. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, impartiality, and academic integrity. Each submission is initially screened by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board and, if deemed suitable for review, is evaluated by at least three independent expert reviewers.

The journal is committed to the principles of open-access publishing, providing immediate and free access to all published content upon publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original work. Authors retain the copyright to their published work.

IJPAS adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics, editorial independence, transparency, and academic integrity, thereby promoting the dissemination of high-quality scientific research to the global scholarly community.
