Completed a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur(WB, India) in 2001. He then joined VSSC, Trivandrum in 2001, and continuing as Engineer in Structural Engineering Entity. His broad research interests are in the area of Structural mechanics, Dynamics, Composite structure, Thermo-structural design & analysis, Pressure vessel design and analysis, Wave propagation in periodic structure, panel flutter, metallic chimney design and welded and bonded structure, etc.
