Atilla KESKIN is Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Ataturk University. He received his Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees at Ataturk University. Dr. Keskin studied econometrics in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at Ohio State University from 2007 to 2008. As a member of the teaching staff, he has taught Introduction to econometrics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, introduction to economics, and statistics for economist at Ataturk University and Erzurum Technical University.
In addition to his teaching and extension activities, Associate Professor Keskin has conducted a major research titled “Spatial Equilibrium Analysis of Regional Structural Change in Turkey’s Cattle Industry”. He has worked as a coordinator and consultant for several national and international scientific and social projects.
From 2011 to 2014 he had served as the Deputy Director of the Atatürk University Continuous Education Centre. He chaired the board of directors of ERDEM Consultancy and Lab. Services Inc. (2011-2014). He has been the Chairman of TAKTİK Consultancy Inc. since 2015. At the present time, he is the Coordinator of Graduate Students, Project Development and Coordination Office and Scientific Research Projects in the Ataturk University.
His hobbies include skiing, photography, acting in theatre plays, hiking and trekking
Keskin lives in Erzurum, Turkey, with his wife, two children, and their Volkswagen big beetle-1974.
