Aim
The International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Food Sciences (e-ISSN: 2618-5946) aims to disseminate original research that advances scientific understanding and provides innovative solutions to global challenges in agriculture, environmental systems, and food sciences.
The journal serves as an international and multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, professionals, and policy-makers to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and contribute to the sustainable transformation of agri-food-environment systems.
The journal particularly welcomes applied, interdisciplinary, and solution-oriented studies that contribute to:
- Sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices
- Environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, and climate resilience
- Food security, safety, and nutrition
- Smart farming, digital agriculture, and agri-technological innovation
- Integrated ecosystem approaches and the circular bioeconomy
Submissions aligned with global scientific and policy priorities — such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate change mitigation, and sustainable food systems — are strongly encouraged.
Article Types and Editorial Priority
The journal publishes original research articles only. Review articles, short communications, case studies, letters to the editor, editorials, and book reviews are not considered.
A manuscript must report the results of an original investigation carried out by the authors, based on data they have generated through field, glasshouse, or laboratory research, with materials and methods described in sufficient detail for the work to be repeated. The work must not have been published previously, in whole or in substantial part, and must not be under consideration elsewhere. Studies consisting solely of questionnaires, literature compilation, or modelling without supporting experimental data are not considered.
Priority is given to studies whose findings have relevance beyond the particular site, season, or cultivar examined, and which contribute to understanding of the processes involved. Manuscripts reporting routine or confirmatory trials conducted at a single location in a single season, and screening or characterisation exercises presented without interpretation, are normally declined at editorial screening.
All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process and are published in accordance with internationally recognized standards of editorial independence, research ethics (COPE), and open access principles (BOAI).
