Journal of Selcuk Communication, published by the Faculty of Communication of Selçuk University, is a "peer-reviewed" journal published two times a year (in April and October). It is a scientific journal that includes treatises, reviews, evaluations and researches in all fields of communication sciences. In this context, Journal of Selcuk Communication, which includes scientific articles related to communication sciences and related disciplines, aims to contribute scientifically to the field of communication by preparing publications in accordance with academic standards. Journal of Selcuk Communication is evaluated in TÜBİTAK / ULAKBİM TR Index Social and Humanities Database, ERIH PLUS, ProQuest | Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, EBSCO Communication Source and DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals.
The main points to be considered while uploading the article are as follows: The articles to be uploaded to the system must be prepared on the sample article template. All in-text references / citations and bibliography to be used in the articles must be created in accordance with APA 7 and through the MS Word reference management system. Articles that do not comply with these issues will not be evaluated.
Announcement: Our article submission system will be open between October 15-20, 2025. Articles submitted during this period will be considered for publication in April 2026 (Issue 19 (1)) or October 2026 (Issue 19 (2)), depending on article volume and the review process. The system will close on October 20, and the announcement regarding the next article submission is planned to be published in April 2026. Announcement of Special Issue on Cinema
Dear authors, Selçuk Communication Journal plans to publish a special issue on Cinema in December 2025. Our special issue on cinema aims to address current transformations and innovative approaches in the field of cinema. The deadline for submitting articles for the special issue is October 31, 2025.
When submitting an article for the special issue call, please remember to activate the “I want to submit my article to the special issue” button. Articles not submitted for the special issue will not be considered.
All articles submitted for the special issue call will undergo a preliminary review and peer review process in accordance with the ethical principles and publication policy of Selçuk Communication Journal, as with other issues. As a result of the evaluations, the candidate article may be published if it receives at least two positive peer review reports.
