Dr. Cihan Cobanoglu is the Dean and the McKibbon Endowed Chair Professor of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) in the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF), who also serves as the Director of the M3 Center for Hospitality Technology and Innovation and Coordinator of International Programs for the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. He is a renowned hospitality and tourism technology expert. Dr. Cobanoglu is a Fulbright Specialist commissioned by the Fulbright Commission (2018-2021). He is a Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) commissioned by Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP) and Educational Institute of American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). He is the Editor of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology (JHTT)(Indexed in SSCI IF=4.2) and a co-author of 10+ books and 20+ conference proceedings.
Alper Isin is an Associate Professor Dr. at Izmir Katip Celebi University, Faculty of Tourism, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. He completed his master's degree at Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Tourism Management Education Program and his doctorate degree at Gazi University, Institute of Social Sciences, Tourism Management Program. In 2022, he received the title of Associate Professor in the field of tourism management. Her main fields of studies are tourism marketing, tourist behavior, gastronomy.

She graduated at the Faculty of Management in Economic University in Kraków, she obtained her Ph.D. Cooperate with Polish Chamber of Tourism, Silesian Tourism Organization and Silesian Chamber of Tourism. Member of Silesian Marketing Society. She is European Climate Pact Ambassador. She is a member of the expert panel on science in sustainable development. Her research interests are connected with sustainable management, sustainable tourism, and tourism management and marketing. Also in her research interest is heritage, she wrote a book about cultural heritage in Silesian Metropolis. She wrote a lot of articles about heritage, especially industrial heritage. Now she is one of the book editor: "Building Community Resiliency and Sustainability With Tourism Development”.
As part of her sustainability-related activities, she gives numerous lectures ranging from kindergartens to high schools. At his alma mater, she teaches a subject also related to sustainability.
Dr. Mehmet Altin is an Associate Professor at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, University of Central Florida. He has authored or co-authored over 75 scientific publications, including refereed journal articles, conference proceedings, presentations, and encyclopedia entries. His scholarly research focuses on performance analytics employing strategic and revenue management approaches, business analytics and intelligence, and entrepreneurship. This includes examining strategic decision-making processes, their impact on firm performance, and the use of financial analytics to optimize business strategies. His work primarily relies on quantitative approaches such as econometric models and time-series analyses, but he also employs mixed methods and techniques.
He is the Senior Associate Editor for the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management (IJCHM) and served/serving as an editorial board member for multiple journals. Also, Dr. Altin serves/served as a member of scientific committees, paper review committees, and session chairs at conferences. He has been serving as a reviewer for numerous refereed journals and multiple international conferences. Additionally, he serves/served on several university committees, and he was the faculty assembly chair at Rosen College.
He was actively involved in the Business Intelligence and Analytics group while completing his Ph.D. at Virginia Tech. He has received the Certificate in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) and participated in the train the trainer program for Certification in Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Analytics (CAHTA). He is the recipient of the 2013 Pamplin College of Business Ph.D. Scholarship. He also received the 2013 annual ICHRIE conference best paper award, the 2014 Michael D. Olsen Memorial Graduate Fellowship in strategic management and finance, and the 2019 Cornell Hospitality Quarterly Best Paper Award finalist. Currently, he has twenty-nine accepted papers (20 in SSCI Journals) and five papers under review.
Erdogan Ekiz joined TEAM University in Tashkent Uzbekistan as Full-Professor of Marketing and Dean of Faculty. He was previously Associate Professor at Westminster International University in Tashkent, and Ad-Hoc Professor at The Ostelea in Morocco. Before this Dr. Erdogan was the Founding Dean of the School of Hospitality Business and Management at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. He was an Associate Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Faculty of Tourism, Saudi Arabia, where he served as Director of both the Postgraduate Studies and International Relations and Agreements Unit. He also served as the launching Head of the Travel and Tourism Department. He worked as a Director of Studies at the London School of Commerce, and Associate Professor at the University of Derby, University of Worcester, and University of Northampton’s common degree program (held in Saudi Arabia) on an ad hoc basis. Dr. Ekiz is a certified trainer, recognized by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) of Saudi Arabia, worked with MEHRAT and BETA training centers on an AdHoc basis.
Dr. Ekiz completed his Ph.D. in tourism and hospitality management at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has a B.Sc. in tourism and hotel management and an M.B.A. in services marketing from Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus. He is a ‘Certified Hospitality Educator’ (CHE) from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and ‘Qualified Learning Facilitator’ (QLF) from École hôtelière de Lausanne. He is an ‘Advanced Trainer’ with Distinction of International Air Transport Association (IATA). He has over 20 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Cyprus, Turkey, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Morocco. He is the Middle East Representative of the Association of North America Higher Education International.
Dr. Ekiz is acting as the Asia-Pacific Coordinating Editor of the Journal of Travel and Tourism as well as the Middle-East Coordinator of the Journal of Multidisciplinary Academic Tourism. His expertise includes service failure, consumer complaining behavior, tourist behavior, and culture. He has around 200 published journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers. His papers have appeared in respected refereed journals such as the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Managing Service Quality: An International Journal, Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing, Scandinavian Journal of Hospitality and Tourism, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management, Tourism Analysis, etc. He is an editorial board member of top-tier journals, such as the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, the Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Tourism Analysis, and several more.
He has successfully completed several consultancy projects with major companies in the industry and is still working on a dozen grants and consultation projects for both government and private sectors. Dr. Ekiz has a wide range of hands-on management experience within the sector, from fast food to 5-star hotels.
Hüseyin PAMUKÇU received his bachelor's degree from Mustafa Kemal University in 2011 and his master's degree from Afyon Kocatepe University in 2014 and his doctorate from Sakarya University 2017. He started his academic career at Kastamonu University in 2013. He started to work as a Research Assistant in 2013 and as a Doctor Lecturer in 2018 in the Department of Tourism Management of the Faculty of Tourism at the University of Kastamonu. As of February 2021, he has continued his studies at the Faculty of Tourism, University of Afyon Kocatepe as Assoc. Professor. Pamukçu, is married father with two child.
Dr. Viana Hassan is actively involved in academic and research work in Tourism & Cultural Management in Lebanon and Malta. She got her Ph.D. in Tourism Management and Cultural from Saint Joseph University, Beirut. Her Thesis was entitled "Medical Tourism in Lebanon". She has more than 19 years of tourism experience in many related Travel and Tourism Fields, varying from airline sales experience (MEA), to Co-management several Lebanese Travel agencies. She is an Experienced Lecturer with more than 18 years’ experience at several universities in Lebanon (Lebanese University, A.U. L, Lebanese International University, Islamic University), the Institute of Tourism Studies, STC higher education partner of Wolverhampton and University of Malta (Malta), GBS with a demonstrated history of working in the Higher education industry, Skilled in Tourism Management, Customer service, Branding, Event Management, Airline Business Management, Niche Tourism, Business operations management, Customer acquisition and Medical Tourism.
Dr. Viana has participated in international conferences ( Expo Dubai 2020, 7th Medical Tourism World Summit , etc…) including Athens, Paris, Vienna, Dubai, Beirut, Valencia, Amman, Lisbon, Istanbul, India and has published papers in peer review journals.
