About
The Journal of Vocational and Social Sciences was founded in 2018 within Trakya University’s Uzunköprü Vocational School and, in pursuit of institutionalisation and sustainability, was subsequently transferred to the Vocational Schools Coordination Office (MEYOK) under the Rectorate of Trakya University. It is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research at the intersection of applied social sciences and vocational fields. The journal publishes articles in Turkish and English twice a year (July and December), charges no submission or processing fees, and does not pay royalties or honoraria to authors. Editorial and publication processes follow COPE best practices, include similarity screening via iThenticate, and require APA 6th-edition referencing.

Journal of Vocational and Social Sciences – Call for Papers for the December 2025 Issue
The Journal of Vocational and Social Sciences has been published since 2018 under the auspices of Trakya University Uzunköprü Vocational School and, as of 2025, continues its publication activities under the coordination of the Presidency of Vocational Schools (MEYOK) at Trakya University. Prepared in accordance with international academic standards, the journal is a peer-reviewed scholarly periodical. The journal aims to publish research across all fields of social, humanities, and technical sciences that promotes interdisciplinary interaction, integrates theoretical frameworks with practical findings, and possesses scientific novelty and original contribution value. Its publication policy seeks to bring together studies from diverse academic disciplines within a shared scholarly platform, making them visible both nationally and internationally. For the December 2025 issue, original research of high scholarly value in any field of the social, humanities, or technical sciences is expected to be submitted via the online article submission system by 15 October 2025. This call is made with the purpose of contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, fostering interdisciplinary academic engagement, and delivering original research to a broad academic community.
