Niğde Medical Journal is a national, scientific, and academic peer-reviewed electronic journal published twice a year by the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Medicine, on March and September . Clinical and experimental research articles, case reports, review articles, technical notes, and letters to the editor, prepared in accordance with all the ethical guidelines in health sciences, are published. Academic studies submitted to the journal for publication should be prepared in accordance with Vancouver and arranged in accordance with journal writing rules. It must not have been previously published or submitted to another journal for publication. The publication language of the journal is Turkish. However, studies written in English are also included in each issue. The main text of reviews and research articles should not exceed 5,000 words; case reports and reviews should not exceed 2,000 words. Articles published in the Niğde Medical Journal must comply with the "Research and Publication Ethics Principles". A written statement is obtained from the authors stating that they comply with research ethics, and a committee approval document is also requested for studies that require "Ethics Committee Permission". The articles submitted to the journal are scanned with special software, and their originality and free of plagiarism are determined. It is evaluated by at least two expert referees in accordance with the double-blind refereeing system.
