History of the Journal
The Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (SUITDER), a peer-reviewed journal, began its publication journey in 1995 under the name *Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Journal of Social Sciences.* In 2024, the journal underwent a name change. SUITDER is indexed by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR Index and has also gained international recognition by being indexed in EBSCO.
The journal aims to present researchers' studies in Archaeology, Western Languages and Literature, Geography, Philosophy, Psychology, Art History, Sociology, History, and Turkish Language and Literature in both Turkish and English to the academic community for their contribution and discussion. (Submissions from fields under the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the Faculty of Theology, and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences are not accepted.)
Since 2016, the journal has been published in both print and electronic formats. However, from 2018 onward, it has continued exclusively in electronic format.
