European Oral Research

European Oral Research (formerly The Journal of Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry) is the official peer-reviewed scientific publication of the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. It is a continuously updated, international open access title that publishes scholarly articles written in English. Since 1967, our journal is dedicated to the unlimited circulation of high quality academic contributions relevant to the dental profession.

Basic and clinical research papers in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral diseases, oral and dental health, oral and maxillofacial radiology, oral and maxillofacial pathology, biomaterials, restorative dentistry, periodontics, pedodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral biology, epidemiology, community dentistry, geriatric dentistry, and dental education may be submitted for consideration. Case reports/case series are not within the scope of the journal, and narrative review articles are accepted by invitation only. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses that adhere to rigorous methodological standards and provide significant contributions to the field will be considered. All submissions must meet high ethical and scientific standards, aligning with the journal’s commitment to evidence-based dentistry. A Letter to the Editor section is available for authors who wish to comment on previously published articles in the journal.
